So I heard Pokemon that hatch from eggs are supposed to be stronger Pokemon in general. Is that true? Because I have a Clefairy that hatched from an egg with about half the CP of a Clefairy I just caught in the wild. And the wild one seems to have better attacks too. I need to transfer one...

Depends on the egg. Theres 2km eggs, 5km and 10km eggs. The 10km eggs will hatch better pokemon

Catch Eevees and transfer them to the professor, you will get candy for each Eeevee transfered
My eevee, which was my first catch after the starter, has evolved into a nice Flareon! Yay!

Eevees are rare as hell here at Northwestern. So I have to get them from eggs. When I get three 10ks, I go for a run!
They're everywhere man, hence the raichu in the pic and the fact I got a lot of candy too. I don't even bother putting much effort into catching them

Eevees are fairly common in Northeast Ohio. Almost every gym is held by an Eeveelution.
Oh shit.

I thought the pulse was when the box updated :-/
My vacation home sucks. Nothing shows up nearby. But man, souvenir shopping let me catch several new guys. I got Mankey, Geodude, Rhyhorn, Goldeen, and Gloom all within one street. I even got a third Squirtle! There were also a couple of gyms there, but server issues prevented me from doing much.

Yup I posted about it earlier...even tried it a few times......ended up losing a few that I was chasing. even when the Pokemon you have is selected the box pulsates because it has moved up or down the list and a new one has appeared overall.

Me right now. Would have leveled it up more before taking over the gym, but I'm completely out of Stardust.
Also, now that I've dived a bit more into the gym stuff, there's a lot of janky mechanics going on here. They need some sort of contribution tracker in terms of prestige based on the tier the gym's at. It's frustrating that all it comes down to in the end is whoever is paying attention to the gym and whoever's game refreshes the most frequently gets to place their Pokemon in the gym rather than the one who contributed the most prestige up until that point. Someone near me capped a gym, but if I were an ass, I could have easily placed my Pokemon in it before he had the chance to heal his up and put his in. This doesn't make any sense, especially in a community-driven game where a lot of people are likely to be gathered around that gym, likely because there's Pokestops nearby.
And then there's the part where if you cap a gym, collect your reward, and then lose the gym, there's absolutely no point in capping again until the cooldown refreshes. Also, I don't have any idea what the number associated with the gym's cooldown timer means. Right now it says 1 for me. Is it tracking how many Pokemon I have in gyms? How long I've held gyms? What is my daily reward based off of?
