Pokémon Go |OT| As in "Go Outside"

Was a meet in my city's centre this afternoon but I had work and couldn't really go. Plus it got rained off. There's another one tomorrow evening, definitely gonna check that one out. Just seeing, meeting and chatting with other players is really putting a smile on my face.

Here's some fanart from Wizyakuza:

What I dislike, there are a lot of weird attacks in this game that I don't know. Horsea for instance has a steel attack. Why?

Gives some variety to the game.

I don't think anyone has anything too crazy, and it's logical that they'd have the moves implemented already if future gens were already planned.

Im staying in Manchester tonight and noticed that someone is putting lures on the same 4 pokestops over and over for the last 2 hours. So i decided to have a stroll....

Its been a goodnight. Got dragonite, 2 squirtles and 2 golducks.

It bugs me that they misspelled Gastly. Also, isn't the plural form of any Pokémon the same as the singular form? i.e. 1 Magikarp or 100 Magikarp

Yes, typically that's how it is. Obviously it wasn't thrown together by a Pokemon Master, but I still thought it was cool. Provided a map of all the Pokestops/Gyms too.

Oddish learns Moonblast at level 43 in OR/AS

It was always grass/poison though. They should have went with the proper attacks for the specific generations in my opinion. At least that would have made fighting more fun for me.

It makes more sense in context to how the creatures may behave than what elements they thrive in. These sort of things add more balancing than anything.
Goes over the heads of people who haven't played Pokemon in the last several years (such as me).

Well, it does make no sense though. Same with my Oddish who has/had (just got rid of it) a fairy move (Moonblast).

It has Moonblast for the same reason any other grass mon might have Solar Beam.

Here's the Pokemon Gold Pokedex entry:

"Awakened by moonlight, it roams actively at night. In the day it stays quietly underground."

"It may be mistaken for a clump of weeds. If you try to yank it out of the ground, it shrieks horribly."

Well my Starmie knows Power Gem which is a rock move, and my Seadra knows Blizzard which is an ice move.

Really just seems like they picked moves by random based on the most current attack list. I don't really see an issue with it.

It used to be water > fire but now it's like water < fire + possible electric move.

My daughter decided to walk to the park with her friend just to look for pokemon, and we bumped into a friend who was out jogging, and her son was tagging along - he wanted to catch pokemon so went jogging with his mum. That QoL!

Does using incense near your house work or do you need to be near a pokestop? And does incense only draw the usual sort or do more rare types show up?
