Wait, Latios and Latias has the same color since when?

And don`t worry guys, Mega Arbok, Mega Seviper and Mega Zangoose will be in the Pokemanz november website update.

What are Zekrom and Reshiram doing there? Are they destroying the spacetime continuum? I thought that was exclusive to Gen IV.

Yes. You use the Eon Flute and you'll fly around on em. I suppose it's either having a Lari@s model or a generic flying pokemon shadow, since there's no way to model all the flying pokemon for this.
 
Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie?

I'm naming the next male Snorunt I find Pac Man. Female snorunts always become Froslass's. Now if there's a Mega Froslass I'll forgive gamefreak for not putting a Mega Milotic.
 
That flying looks so cool.
Hope we get Thundurus and Landorus in those black clouds. I've already got the six legendaries that they showed.

Yea, its beyond ridiculous. The worst other companies do is place a demo/beta in their last published game or a preorder, but going out of your way to obtain a demo through a damn newsletter is just ludicrous.

At least it comes out next month. My anger would have been much stronger if this was announced back in the beginning of summer or earlier.
 
Man these Pokemon trailers always hype up what seem to be completely ordinary features. I also couldn't help but notice the god-awful sound effects and partially bad special effects.

If only Nintendo and Gamefreak would actually put some of the insane profit they make with these titles back into the games. But that ain't necessary when mediocre looking Mega versions get their fan base's hearts beating faster :/

I can only hope the framerate will actually be stable this time around, otherwise the disparity of the technical prowess between this and Smash 3DS is a bad joke.

Anywho, IIRC, Gamefreak confirmed getting all of the non-event legendaries in ORAS, no? I could swear I've read that somewhere.
 
After being hardcore against the idea of limited demos yesterday in a few posts, I'm obviously now seeing the genius behind some of their tactics. Every Pokemon fanatic will now be receiving their e-mail newsletters, which is a huge metric for their Marketing division. Most will forget to turn off e-mail notifications, and many more will decide to keep it, for fear of losing out on future demos/offers like this one. Boom, subscription rates are maxed.
 
I've been subbed for emails since i signed up and the last pokemon newsletter i got was May... so hopefully I dont miss out on this.

Yes there is only one box to check for email newsletters in your profile settings. You have 6 days to do so!
 
do ALL the mega evolutions have different abilities than their normal counterpart?

I'm looking forwrd for a mega cloyster,but the only reason why it's still kinda relevant is the skill link ability

I really liked Mega Steelix, hope it turns out to be Steel/Dragon, that would be amazing.

Mega Rayquaza is awesome too. Latios and Latias, on the other hand...

Off-hand, I know both regular Scizor and Mega Scizor can have Technician. But yeah, sometimes Mega Evolution sacrifices a great ability for a stat boost. Like Mega Sableye -- I wouldn't bother with the Mega because I find Prankster a lot more useful than Magic Bounce.
 
MEGA GLALIE HUNGERS

Mega Pidgeot and Beedrill look awesome. If you can get a mega evolve stone for Beedrill mid-game I'm totally catching a Weedle for the main quest.
 
just noticed that my main email is subscribed to the pokemon newsletter but the last email i got from them was in may of 2014. Just made a new pokemon newsletter account with my brothers email so hopefully i get a demo code.
 
I still think the Mega Evolutions are wasted potential. They could have added normal evolutions for Pokemon, that don't have one.

Other than that, it looks really cool and I like how you can fly and catch those Legendaries. Best Pokemon Gen!!!

I hope the Player Search System (PSS) doesn't annoy the shit out of me again. These pop-ups every 2 steps where horrible...

Edit: Eon Flute is how you obtain the Lati@s from the sound of the article.

A mega pokemon has one fixed ability, whereas a regular pokemon can have up to 4 possible abilities. And no it won't necessarily be a new ability.
