Edit: Eon Flute is how you obtain the Lati@s from the sound of the article.

The website literally just says that you use the Eon Flute and that Lati@s allows you to soar into the sky, it doesn't say anything about a "Soar" ability or move, just that you can soar into the sky.

All the hints and notifications, that popped up in Pokemon X and Y? I've seen many people complain about it and the only way to disable them is by switching to the Pokemon Amie or to the Super Training screen, which both are annoying as well, if you don't currently use them.

A mega pokemon has one fixed ability, whereas a regular pokemon can have up to 4 possible abilities. And no it won't necessarily be a new ability.

then i would like to see a mega cloyster that discards most of his shell to gain atk and speed and loses lots of defense while still maintaining the skill link ability

If we count Mega Lati@s as ORAS Megas and not XY Megas and we count Primal Groudon and Kyogre as Megas(because let's be honest, they are) then ORAS is currently only 6 Megas away from XY's final Mega count, and a lot of XY's Megas were't revealed before release. I'm starting to think ORAS might actually have more Megas than XY.

I am reading what the website says. The fact that "Soar" is capitalized means it is probably an ability, because why would they capitalize it if they meant it to just be a word.

There is no Soar HM.

Because Soar is the name of the feature that lets you fly in the sky.

It is confirmed that is the method of getting the demo for the US. Given that Europe has all the stupid gimmicks in place (Nintendo zones, conventions etc) I doubt Europeans will get codes from that.

Unless we still get it on the 15th, and they'll keep distributing codes all the way until the 20th? Meaning if you sign up after the 20th, you're outta luck. Or at least thats what i'm hoping.

Yup, we would have heard about it if it was still in.

And thus continues Game Freak's tradition of adding features in one game and then not including them in the following games. Watch Soaring not being in the next mainline game

Having the option alone annoys diehard Pokémon fans. It does not annoy me because the game scales a bit high at Gym 7 and 8. My Nuzlocke will not be that bad since I do not have to grind like I did playing Emerald.

I'm not going to use it, but I don't like it design wise because I think it cheapen's the experience. The only way it can work is if they actually properly designed the enemy levels around the EXP share, which they didn't in XY. I also like the old EXP share because it was a good way to level up one Pokemon while you continued on your journey normally, now if you want to do that you have to box all but two Pokemon unless you want all of your Pokemon to get over leveled.

Made the game way more enjoyable for me, and I'm no newbie to Pokémon. Logged hundreds of hours winning online battles with my IV-bred, EV-trained team. Exp. Share allows you to experiment with more team combinations more quickly in single-player. And it's an option, so if you don't like it, don't use it.

It's literally flying over the 3d model that the game uses for the world. It's the same scale as when you're on the ground
