With the assumption you're in North America. Think Europe's mystery gift pokemon thus far have been the same, minus the Pinsir/Heracross.

Sent you a message. I'd suggest PokeBank for Celebi, but pretty sure free trial is gone and you'd have to pay for a year (totally worth it) and only a day or two left to claim it, I believe.

I'll try to be on more frequently while I'm on this side of the pacific.

I have a bold Regenerator Hooh I'm using in White 2 right now, I'm using Fire Blast along with Calm Mind, Recover, and Toxic, I was wondering if I should swap FB for Flamethrower, it's the power vs accuracy debate. Eventually I want to bring this up and retrain for EVs and use in my ORAS gym.

I don't think Ho-oh's Special Attack is high enough to get away with Flamethrower. I would go with Fire Blast. Sure, it has less accuracy, but there are also a good amount of situations where there's a 0% chance to do the damage you want with Flamethrower and 85% chance to do it with Fire Blast

You're welcome! Anyway any ideas on an Adamant Lugia? It would come up from the older games so it has a larger movepool due to move tutors.

I see Serebii has that trick choice band set.

So, who here has been thinking about their team come ORAS? Going to just pick up Pokemon as you go through game, or breed/clone some stuff and drag it over to ORAS to stomp it? What Pokemon are you thinking of going with in either case?

Only really started thinking about it today. Tempted to just pick up Pokemon as I go, then remembered how shitty Ruby is (hoping it gets help in remake in terms of Pokemon you come across... because ones you get to start a team off early suck) and now just thinking of bringing over a fresh team for it.

I brought over 5IV breeding rejects in US Y and totally steamrolled it. Just thinking about bringing over things not necessarily based on IV but would be fun to play with.

I thought about looking for gen 3 games here on Craigslist and the reselling prices are as crazier as ever. Lol

Especially since I already have more than enough gen 3 carts, and I won a GBA AR on eBay that comes with both JP RS, so that's now 10 carts from gen 3 Hoenn alone (4 eng Ruby, 4 eng Sapphire, 4 jpn Ruby, 4 jpn Sapphire, 1 eng Emerald, 1 jpn Emerald). Now I can see my Emerald SIDs at the gba level and give myself the tickets to get easy shiny Eon Lati@s, Deoxys, Mew(jpn only), Ho-oh, and Lugia.

Anyway that means the four English RS games are now only there for Gen 3 disc event farming, I'll redo the two TID/SID combos I did on the coming carts.

And the entire point is that I'm better off with Japanese Gen 3 games going forward because 1) they're cheaper 2) I know they are real and not bootleg 3) frees up English RS games to Disc event farming 4) gives me Shiny Mew in the case of Japanese Emerald

I was wondering if Latias could make some sort of bulky tank with those IVs, so dumping the EVs into HP and Atk. The Spe IVs are just too low. Give it leftovers or life orb depending on tank or truck.

Guys, make sure to SR for Insomnia. This is the only way to get a Super-sized Insomnia Pumpkaboo. Then I think you can use it for breeding and all that fun stuff. EDIT: I type so slowly I got ninja'd by 5 minutes lol
