Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

Phew. Everytime this thread gets bump from now on I'm gonna be afraid someone is gonna be like "confirmed, she's dead."

It is not true, just someone being an idiot on Wikipedia.
It is nowhere in the news, nowhere on any anime news sites and in fact nowhere on the net at all that I can find.

There are some sick, twisted people on Wikipedia ;_;

I wonder if the two legendaries for B/W are man made? Something about their tails makes me think that, but who knows.
That would be worse than Deoxys.

Okay not really Deoxys is worse, but I wouldn't like it. Zekrom looks too awesome.

Like with most other Pokemon plot points, it's probably Pokemon -> Humans, and not the other way around.

Hey, Mewtwo was manmade, too. Maybe Team Rocket are back and trying again. :)

Well uh I mean argh...

You got me. I totally forgot about him. Fine.

Team Rock retreating to a foreign country where they don't have quite a large profile, lying in wait creating two new uberpowerful Pokemon...

Maybe. Doubtful, but maybe.

Two pure Dragon types existing in their parallel area things (those two) having another type added to them by SCIENCE

I thought porygon and magnemite were man-made, not that they are legendaries or anything. I thought Entei was also a human at one point?

Anime=/=Gameworld

Porygon was, too... I don't really remember about Magnemite. I thought they just like... started existing because of electricity and metal and stuff? I don't know. :lol

Also the entire Porygon line.
Yeah but those are fine. They're totally computer program things and they make sense with their design and moveset and all. Reshiram for example, a scientist wouldn't put a dick on such a thing.

Steel types in general are kind of weird. Machine? Animal? Who knows?

There was that thread about ghost Pokemon a while back, too.

Why does Kangaskhan hatch with its young already in its pouch?

Fucking Pokemon biology, how does it work?

Thats why Khangaskhan needs a pre evo because its ridiculous to think that a recently hatched pokemon already has a baby.

But even then, you'd only be able to obtain its pre-evo by breeding with an incense attached. Breeding without one would still produce another Kangaskhan.

Grafting new stuff onto the game system without reworking old stuff or trimming the excess always provides some lols.

Wow. Looking at the movie plots I guess I got the Entei one confused with the game.

As unrealistic as it may be, it would be interesting if they gave Porygon another evolution. Or even one of those split paths like Poliwhirl has, either poliwrath or politoad. Porygon Z or Porygon XYZ

It works better if you trick yourself into thinking the "baby" is just an extra body sort of grafted onto the larger Kangaskhan. Like some sort of parasite they are born with.

This is how I rationalized it as a child. <_<.....>_>

I'm pretty damn sure they are seperate. I think the anime and manga established this. hell, I'm surprised they didn't fix this issue when they included breeding and baby pokemon :lol

Clearly the parasite steals some of the new born Kangaskhan's flesh and genetic material, allowing it to move freely and creating the illusion of being a separate entity. Clearly.

Stop trying to ruin my childhood delusions!

I just read on the triple battles information. I like how the placement affects your attack. Now it seems your Explosion/Earthquake Pokemon has to be in the middle. Plus it would be cool that you can make your Pokemon on the far left avoiding your counter which your opponent has on the far right.

Yeah, I wonder what happens if you switch formation before they get off an attack...

I like how Pokemon is slowly evolving into a standard turn based JRPG with 3 on 3 battles. :lol

This is what I was thinking. :lol Triple battles sounds like it's going to be hectic, a lot more prediction to be involved now. I wonder if it'll be minimal in the actual game though. Even when double battles where first introduced, the amount of them actually in R/S was minimal.

So many psychic types, didn't expect the bat pokemon to be one as well. Rankurusu and Gochiruzeru are my favorite pokemon revealed so far, especially after seeing the official art. :D

Are any of yall importing it? I don't know a lick of Japanese and have played through several of the previous games in Japanese.

I ordered White on Play-Asia. We can help eachother on the games! At this point I know it won't work on my DSi since that feature was revealed, but I still have my DS Lite so I'll be fine.

I'm thinking about it, but I really don't want to sour the experience...

One in Japanese and both in English? Thought I was crazy for just getting both in English. :lol

Yeah I know, but apparently the games have a lot more different then version exclusives. I haven't even opened HeartGold still, I only played through SoulSilver. Back in the day I played all of the games :/

Yeah, got White on preorder at Play-Asia too (with added express shipping!) I can read Japanese though so the language won't be an issue. Especially with the super simple hiragana with spaces the Pokemon series uses.

Would consider the 'one in Japanese, one in English' idea but I've got a Japanese XL coming for it and have a feeling I won't want to go back to my DS Lite with dodgy touchscreen after playing that. So just White (and I guess maybe the inevitable Grey) it is.

Yep, pre-ordered Black last week. I've imported every game since Emerald. :3

I know a moderate amount of Japanese, though, so I won't be completely lost. Plus they keep making the games more and more import friendly (color-coded attacks, visible effects of natures, etc).

Do double battles? Meta-game will probably look over them, but PKMN Company will probably hype them up during official tourneys.

I think I remember 645 complaining that double battles don't (could be wrong) soooo...
