It looks like it could be the mamepato's final evo because id you look at the bird revealed in the demo it has some feathers in his neck that look like the ones this guy has.

New bird is probably the evolved form of the blue bird seen in the poor quality vid cap or whatever it was.

I've really come around on a lot of these designs. I'm digging the new generation. I hope that rumor about the presence of older pokemon being diminished is true.

Same here, I don't think we've seen any older pokemon in screenshots yet either. Not sure about how the previous generations worked in this regard.
I can't see Pikachu being left out regardless, it's one of the few pokemon in every region specific pokedex as well.
 
I'm kind of hoping that the only way to receive older Pokemon is via transfer from an older game.

I always go through a new Pokemon game with a brand new team and then after I've beat the E4 I transfer my old guys over and run around doing the sidequests switching up my team and mixing them around. I know it's cheesy, but I get a little attached to my 'main team' and seeing my old guys mix with my new guys end-game when they're all uber gives me this really cool feeling. It's almost like the feeling you get playing a cross-over game because to me my team of six is my 'RPG hero team' in my eyes.

My box in Soul Silver has guys from Ruby, LeafGreen, and Pearl. That's 7 years of epic adventures carried over. Moving them all to Black and White is going to be sweet.

I never associated Fearow with a vulture. I mean, isn't Sparrow based on some type of bird that's common?

Skarmory evolution is unnecessary, it would be overpowered. The only possible way is baby form, but that would be even more unnecessary.

I don't understand this. It's a wikipedia on Pokemon. It has information from nearly everything on Pokemon. It should be that way, even though I don't personally care about some of the information.

No it isn't because you will still have to trade them across one at a time.
 
Why does everyone think that GF are going to make evolutions/pre-evolutions for Pokemon from earlier gens? They already did it in the 4th Gen. They're not going to do it again anytime soon.

What generation hasn't at least had pre-evos (can't think of any new evolutions in 3rd gen, but I just woke up and can't think straight)?

Also, consider that there are 493 pre gen-5 Pokemon now. We'll see more and more evolutions of prior Pokemon as time goes forward, I think.

Roserade, Ambipom, Mismagius, Honchkrow, Gliscor, Probopass, Gallade, Lickilicky, Leafeon, Glaceon, Togekiss, Magnezone, Tangrowth, Yanmega, Rhyperior, Dusknoir, Porygon-Z, Electivire, Magmortar, Mamoswine, Froslass plus all the other baby Pokes.

That's a lot of Pokemon.

I'm not expecting that many from 5th gen, but I am expecting a few at the very least.
 
More stuff on Serebii. The bird's name is Wogle... it's a red,white, and blue bald eagle...hmm. They also have Munna's next stage... looks like a girly Drowzee.

What's the point of other Pokemon even existing then? And of course, the Elite 4 team member with 6 Wogles wears an American flag bandana.

Holy shit the eagle looks WAY better than I expected. God damn.

His attack is also incredibly badass. If his stats are like a better Fearow (please please please please please please god please), he's easily my favorite Normal/Flying.

It's a shame he's Normal but I mean, I can't really complain when he is this badass. Just look at him man.

Edit: That kid with the glasses is the rival?
Also that really looks like his sister there. Who is she? I would bet anything she's his sister.
 
America fuck yeah. Cool, this looks better than Mamepato, I want the Eagle on my team. Free Fall sounds like an awesome move =D
