Already reports of guys in masks trying to set fires. For those of us protesting and marching...don't trust guys in masks.

I remember, when I was really young, protesting the Iraq war and getting tear gassed. Heh, funny to see it all repeating itself.

I can't wait for this to be over and the deplorables to leave. I was at the store today and one of them was talking to the cashier at checkout. He came from Nebraska to watch the Siberian candidate get elected and kept going on and on about how happy he was and how great Trump is... the greatest since George Washington and Thomas Jefferson according to him. My eyes couldn't roll back far enough.

Who ARE these people?

Thank goodness I don't need to be in the city tomorrow.

Wearing a mask basically grants you the right to do anything without any repercussions. That's a slippery slope.

Apart from freedom of speech concerns it's important to remember they are protesting a president who has literally asked his departments to name and out people who simply believe in the underlying science of their jobs and has sworn revenge on perceived enemies.

Do you think all protestors who wear masks lack brains or something? Property damage is often a bad strategy, at least in this country where the populace sympathizes with bourgeois and petty bourgeois interests, so it's counterproductive. Plus you'd still probably get arrested. It's not like covering your face makes you immediately melt into the night.

I told my friend who is attending for the protests tomorrow to wear pool goggles and a face mask (the ones they sell at hospitals that you wear.) Because I know he's going to get tear gassed because of how these things go...

Unfortunately it's the opposite situation you need to be afraid of. Folks up to no good looking to make the people out there just there's to have their voices be heard look like the bad guys.

Im glad I dont have to deal with any Trump supporters tomorrow, I'd probably throw hands on the spot with anyone who said some slick shit about the Obamas. Tomorrow is like the one day I'd be "triggered" by it.

I'm thorn, for one part the government here in Mexico pulls this shit all the time. People infiltrated in the protests in order to provoke chaos and Riots. Only a small spark of fire is enough to lead all the people who is really angry to start joining the violence.

For another part. Maybe the "let's protest peacefully" approach will not be enough anymore.

I sure hope not. Widespread rioting is only going to polarize the country even more...

Maybe it is inevitable, if things get bad enough, but I'm really not looking forward to it.

Either way Russia wins. They either get control of the most powerful government in the world or it destroys itself in a civil war
