Booker's lack of experience would normally be an issue.. But considering her opponent has zero, and she has arguably too much (seems to be a bad thing this cycle) I think she can afford to put Booker on there.

The one negative I can remember is that he really didn't like Obama attacking Rmoney's career at Bain Capital.
I have no idea if he was considered a decent mayor. I don't think his work as Senator will make many Dems mad.

Having a VP who could be president is important for the scenario that Hillary's presidency goes well. Then Booker would have lots of experience and be connected to a well liked presidency as well as being a good candidate for president even before that. VP picks don't change much so it would be nice to at least be at least be able to promote a future president.

I wonder how Murdoch will run Fox News differently from Ailes? He has historically made friends with center left dems, including Hillary Clinton.
RE: Booker, there's no way Clinton tarnishes her image further by cozying up to big banking Booker. It won't happen. Nor will Perez, who has no experience doing anything worth talking about. Nor Warren, with whom Clinton shares no synergy.
It's crazy to me that you guys treat the vp pick as a piece of flair to show off a minority or a woman or "someone exciting" instead of treating it like The Person Who Is Pretty Much The President. You have to ask yourself if you'd vote for that person in a presidential primary.
So Booker qualifies except the optics are bad. Sherrod Brown, Tim Kaine, and Vilsack are all presidential material. I wouldn't ever vote for socialist Warren in a primary and I'd be upset if she was president.

I Just spent a bit of time doing some research on Booker, (and by research I mean glancing at his wikipedia page.)
I'm definitely loving the stuff he's done for the community, like shoveling someone's driveway, and letting people into his home after the hurricane hit New Jersey. Heck I remember hearing how he rescued someone from a burning building, but I completely forgot that was him.
