Few tweaks in the senate, add a few more friendly provisos
Bang.
Might as well do nothing then.
Too bad more Democrats weren't on cable television.

If that's the case...we might as well just pack it up, go home and hide in our shadows.

Where did I say we can't try?
Just hate the attitude that somehow the Senate will save us.

Not as is. If it makes it through the Senate it'll likely have to go back down to the House.
Not in its current form. However McConnell can edit it to pass. The question becomes will the freedom caucus revolt.
Edit: The AARP is already out against this bill.

And not even just the House Freedom Caucus. Are the demands of Lee/Cruz/Paul compatible with the demands of Collins/Murkowski/Flake/Heller? McConnell can't lose those 3 votes.

The president will make remarks at 3:30 in the Rose Garden, per the White House
They have beenThe AMA and AARP have come out now against the bill.
Sort of funny news.
Looks like there's a party/ press conference to happen in the Rose Garden, while the Australian Prime Minister waits in New York...

Good. And they're waiting for the CBO.It shouldn't be taken as a given by any means, but the fact that Lamar Alexander has already come out and said the Senate will write their own bill over several weeks seems pretty relevant since he chairs the relevant committee.

Portman already dumping on House bill -- really kills the House Ohio reps who voted for something GOP senator and governor cannot support
This isn't going to have the kind of political fallout people think it will.

A federal judge in ATL just ordered voter registration temporarily re-opened until May 21 in Georgia's 6th District race. Story TK. #gapol

In better news:
I mean the headline isn't wrong, this is what Trump considers winning, and it's the only thing he's been able to pass. It's not like it says "a win for America" or something.
OK. No one will report on the CBO score for this. Americans will lose their Healthcare and no one will care. Hurray!

Senate will absolutely replace this with something much more moderate, even moreso than the original AHCA.
The FC in the House will then have to make the decision whether they prefer any repeal of Obamacare at all or nothing at all. That is what it's going to come down to.
Any source on them removing the congress exclusion from the bill?

If it's actually in the bill, holy balls, even more delicious ads.
Do you really think they will fuck with their own healthcare?
They voted on it immediately prior.

That is the opposite of what this vote does actually - this vote would ensure that AHCA *does* apply to them. https://twitter.com/peterbakernyt/status/860194531551084544
