For a second there i thought mcCain was invoking footage from The Dark Knight to slander obama.

That would mean I'd have to kill the old man tomorrow.

I'm trying to be out there at 7am. In 04 I got in an out with no wait outside of the required verification/processing. My local precinct didn't get packed until around 8:00-8:30. Hopium addictions may cause increased turnout earlier, but the sooner the better BELIEVE me.

I would try to avoid going anywhere around lunch time. Most business will be giving employees a paid lunch our(or additional hour) to go vote, a lot of people will be going from 11a-2p. Worst case scenario, I have my iphone!

You can live under a large government that doesn't advocate tyranny.

Please attempt to prove this.. not just wishing it is true ya know. I wish that was true just like I wish all guns suddenly dissapeared, but neither can happen..

Why is this such a bad thing? I mean I dont mean literally nothing...but I would much rather live under a goverment that doesn't advocate tyranny.

We are going to get the same wars don't you all worry:

I really ask if you want change you all need to voluteer some more and don't force a larger goverment on us.. Here is a great one here:

Idealism has no place in a real world. You could justify socialism under the same tenets, and at least its motives would be altruistic. The small government argument is the worst-thought out argument. PEACE.

Doesn't it seem like the tone at CNN and MSNBC is way mellow? It really feels like the calm before the storm.
Everybody's just getting ready for a long, exciting day.

OK someone post the cartoon with the Joker/Two-Face Hospital Room scene with Rove as Joker and McCain as Two-Face.

It's The Dark Knight, the fbi would do the job anyways!

re: FBI - I am totally joking. I'll probably never own a weapon in my life, much less use one. PEACE

He sounds so tired, dude is going to sleep like a rock tonight.
Was thinking the same thing. He's in those last moments where he knows all he has to do is stick it out a few more minutes then he can sleep, but his body is already ahead those 10 minutes.

My eyes are going to be stuck on MSNBC all day tomorrow watching the contested states under the all-knowing gaze of Chuck Todd. I'm in Illinois, guess who won the electoral votes here! :lol

West LA here. I don't know how long the lines will be, but I'd love to bring a case of beer to the line for everyone.

Where in the country will Obama and McCain be once the polls are in? Will they be in their home states?
Obama's gonna be in Chicago. Dunno about McCain. Is Palin still going to alaska without him?:lol

i cant decide if i want to get up at 5:45am and be one of the first at the polls, or wait until 5:45pm and try and be one of the last people in the lines when they cut it off.

He stopped yesterday. I remember seeing the Bush in the rear view mirror yesterday, but really once you get this close to election day, commercials only really work on an insignificant number of folks.

I'm in NC and on MSNBC I saw the tax plan commercial a few times and one other one I don't remember the theme today. Also Obama supporters called us twice today, even though we've all already voted for Obama and mentioned this in a call we received yesterday.

Obama is going to have a giant party at Grant Park, so all traffic news is saying stay away from downtown come sunset.

oh, and it's Hutchinson field. Radiohead performed there. Nice area.

Yes, Chicago and Arizona. Palin will be in Alaska, and I'm pretty sure Biden will be in Chicago also.

Bitch, you aint seen them crazy azz hologram shizz Chuck got goin on.
MSNBC is not in HD, and Microsoft Surface has some shitty framerates going on. Sorry but as a tech geek I am forced to stick with CNN as my main source tomorrow, but I will be checking in with both MSNBC and Fox from time to time to enjoy the victory dances and bitter tears respectively.

I predict there will be a lot of cat-fighting tomorrow.

MSNBC will have hosts AND an anchor on election night, according to Chris Matthew on "Hardball." After Matthews and Olbermann got removed as official election anchors for the final debates, with David Gregory taking the role, the network announced their election night plans as follows:

MSNBC's Election Night coverage kicks off at 5 p.m. ET, anchored by David Gregory with Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Eugene Robinson at MSNBC Election Headquarters in New York. "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough will join to provide analysis based on his years of experience in the House of Representatives. Norah O'Donnell will report on the challenges facing the incoming administration...
But Monday Chris Matthews announced he and Olbermann are "hosts":
Please join me and Keith Olbermann as we host MSNBC's election night coverage, and there's nothing like it anywhere else. And David Gregory anchoring."

Is there any sort of venue arranged locally for either candidate, should a result be realised on election night?

Of course. It's standard practice for any campaign, really.

A vote is a choice. Not participating in a vote is also a choice.

So it is his choice then. I'll agree with you there.
