The Chuck Todd rule...

add 4% to Clintons numbers.

this is for PA only, as she has the entire statewide 'machine' behind her. he's talking about late-breaking undecideds, who, in ohio and texas, went to Clinton but who, in wisconsin, va, etc (see: month of february) went to obama. so the new CW is that late-breakers go to hillary disproportionately in the rust belt and texas, and thus PA

APF didn't deserve that ban.

APF was completely right about Mellon-Scaife, though the tenuous Hamas endorsement was a weak comparison.
Agreed. Though, did Clinton seek that endorsement? I subscribe to the Reagan ideal that endorsements/contributions are people signing on to your convictions, not obligating you to take on theirs. But, if she went begging to Mellon-Scaife after all he did to them personally, that seems a little craven.

Not trying to re-argue it, just curious.

Are Rasmussen's polls pretty accurate for the most part?
IIRC, they are very hit-or-miss. But this one seems in line with most; SUSA just pegged the race at 50-44 for Clinton, for example.

Obama camp responds to Clinton's last miinute ad (featuring Bin Laden):

http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/04/obama_camp_on_new_hillary_ad_w.php

"When Senator Clinton voted with President Bush to authorize the war in Iraq, she made a tragically bad decision that diverted our military from the terrorists who attacked us, and allowed Osama bin Laden to escape and regenerate his terrorist network. It's ironic that she would borrow the President's tactics in her own campaign and invoke bin Laden to score political points. We already have a President who plays the politics of fear, and we don't need another."

It's similar to what she did in Texas - drop an ad using fear to drive voters. I'm so sick of this shit. :\

How the hell can a circlejerk be boring? You get jerked.
There are two types of circle jerks. One in which you sit in a circle and jerk yourself off, the other in which you reach over and jerk the next guy off. Both are pretty creepy.

I agree, but I think the problem mostly lies with Clinton previously making a big huff about going out of your way to reject and denounce all the endorsements you don't want.

For that one incident? Perhaps not. But for his constant flame baiting and trolling? Definitely.

Edit: LOL LOL LOL LOL :lol :lol :lol :lol

There was alternate account amnesty a while back.... maybe he didn't take advantage of that.

syllogism said:
It was pretty obvious he was just trolling and you people kept taking the bait.
That he was trolling wasn't really the problem. Everyone who isn't new understands what he was about, but what really bothered me was his holier-than-thou double-standard.

BTW, it's entirely possible that APF and Tom_Cody are in fact different people who are siblings or roommates... but the IP records match too well on multiple ISPs for it to be two entirely unrelated people.

Oh, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with trolling, far from it.

c'mon now, its politics. Like religion, when its discussed, especially for this long, people take sides and get upset. Just because he pissed you off being in love HRC doesnt mean he isnt a cool person besides his political flaws.

New thread title necessary:

Wait, so he wasn't APF after all? You're breaking my mind here!

And good riddance...

I think what is being said is that APF really was just faking it for the sake of arguing with people.

Which is what people have been saying about him constantly.

Zeed said:

I'm saying that it's still possible the guy in the picture isn't APF, but somebody who is related to APF either by family or residence.
