My vote: IGN. Since it's already down and I'm only seeing "McGriddles" style adverts. :lol
 
Gamespot had BETTER NOT crash, after I shelled out a monthly subscription just for complete.

IGN crashing however would be hilarious. :lol

Although I may have to change my vote if speculation proves true concerning last nights downtime being attributed to a switching of higher-capacity servers? Even so, the new servers may not be enough! GAF it is.
 
IGN did well last yr, Every yr I can remember GAF has crashed, The only two websites I'm not sure if they crash or not Is OA and Gamespot.

Anything Nintendo related will get seriously crushed.

If online forums were a true indication of fanbase, Nintendo would have a 90%+ console marketshare.

Doesn't make sense they don't?

GAF's crash will be so big, it will disrupt the time continium to be #1.

didnt ign use the GAF site unavailable message in an add for insider or something last year?

"fed up of not getting a connection?" kind thing..

im pretty sure i rmember the image url said "we still love you" - would be funny if they did go down and GAF stayed up..

Indeed this does not make sense. Perhaps deep inside everyone really wants nintendo to dominate. That, or they just want a freaking brand new GOOD mario game.
 
Last night the forum died for an hour or two due to something completely unrelated to traffic... the database was accidentally set to log everything endlessly until the HD filled up.

But now that's cleared up, let's see how much we can handle. ;)
 
I am thinking GAF might be the one to go down first. 1400+ guests right now, and 550+ registered users and non of the conferences have even started yet! All the other sites are looking for news, lol!
 
Wow, 1500 Guest, and almost 600 members already. The forum is already starting to lag a bit, I see nothing but trouble come around 5 or 6.

Weren't the forums restricted to members only last E3??? May be time to adopt the same approach this year.
 
Yeah--I have a feeling that I won't be seeing much of GAF this evening. I'm looking forward to logging in when I show up at work tomorrow and seeing hundreds of posts' worth of "OMG!!!", though.

You can say that again. :lol It's taking 20-25 seconds to load a page on broadband, somebody lop off the outsiders... their worthless lurking is congesting the server.
 
Yup.
GAF is really slow for me right now.
User donations, ad banners, and amazon whoring aren't enough to keep this place running smoothly.
 
I'm trying to do my part to keep GAF going but it's not working. How come I went into my CP an turned Avatars off but they are still on??

Bah I say IGriddlesN will go down first~maybe Gamefaqs after that.

Sure they do. I'm 56k so avatars are extra loading on my end. The more time I spend grind-loading pages GAF equals more work on their end to.
