Polygon just can't help themselves

The dude behind the counter isn't even black, you race baiting piece of shit. You mongrel.

This is how you choose to go out, Polygon? Pathetic.
A white dude with rastas?

Fucking rockstar can't help themselfs from promoting cultural appropriation uh?

This is the headline of your next article, you fuckers :messenger_sunglasses:

I'm gassed!

Both main characters look beautiful can't wait to play this thing. I wonder if the games Online will allow us to import our current GTA Online accounts in.

Another garbage article that has nothing to with gaming , no wonder they keep on failing

I lik3 that you linked to archives. Thougjt that was hilarious.

Not sure what you're upset about though. Maddy was just showing the differences in the trailers.

I'm a little biased cause I like Maddy Meyers but I didn't see what the issue was with her article

Wonder what happens when you pick up a whore as a female character? Maybe you can actually be the streetwalker. I'd like to read Polygon's opinion about that.

Guarantee you they will water it down if not completely remove it from GTA6. You guys realize Rockstar has a bunch of woke women and lgbt working for them now, right? Just like every other Western developer.

GTA6 will be a politically correct game, relatively speaking.

These nonesense articles by these non playing gamers won't change anything,

Rockstar saw what happened to Saint's Row lol, it's GTA, no way it could turn into a complete DEI game without massive backlash, there may be some of that in the game but your going to be a criminal in the game not a preachy tinkerbell lol.

So, she explained GTA? I fail to see how this has really changed anything. GTA has always been anti-police and had always shined light on minorities on these games. I think the only major difference in GTAVI is that the main characters are both in a relationship with each other and one of them just happens to be a Latina. It's really not so different, even politically, than GTAV or, hell even IV. This seems like a big nothing article to garner clicks. And it's not even doing a good job of it.

She doesn't really go into why this is a big change of politics other than talking about cops being gangs (hint: in GTA they always have (see San Andreas)), and anti-Americanism (again, has always been a thing, but they would also celebrate in other ways).

I don't know what this article is trying to accomplish.

Polygon, Kotaku, PC Gamer, three "gaming news" sites I couldn't care less about when it comes to their opinions or news.

Lately, I've been staying informed just through a few users on X , the kind of accounts that only post the bare essentials like: "Game X got announced, it's coming out on X date for platforms X and Y, here's the trailer."

The second trailer has already more views on Youtube than Polygon's website ever had in its entire lifetime.

Eh, nothing particulary wrong with this article, it's like if I was writing an article on how great the FF7 remake duology is (so far), it's an opinion piece, the author sees some elments that others might not see, doesn't mean she's particulary wrong to think that.
He/she/whatever-it see everything through the political lens with every bit examined as bullet point for "social issues", it's GTA, none of the characters are the good guys, they're the bad guys facing worse people than them, there isn't much to analyze, "oh, the character bitch-slapped a black (is he?) cashier, why so mean?" to he/she/it, the problem is aggression to person from a determined race and not what is being implied in the scene: the character is actually robbing a store

I was thinking about people playing GTA:SA back then and was wondering if people were this 'riled up' (read: annoying) about playing a black guy. Some stereotypically yokel guys coming out with 'i aint playin no [word for black person]' instead of just enjoying a new GTA. I do not remember that.

And especially with GTA it has been a fun ride with whatever I was playing. Seems played up.
