Since all the rumors specifically point to a Marvel vs Capcom ordeal I'm not too worried about the Capcom front. I can't say I'm too worried about the game lacking in cartoon-informed levity either, Marvel's game division has stepped things up pretty well and I think they're well aware of Capcom's strengths, as well as what people want to see from them. The MCU elements of Marvel could translate fairly easily into the MvC we know and love.
I asked if he meant MCU-TV/Netflix, he said that MCU-Film actors are involved (supposedly).

Iron Galaxy improved Killer Instincts netcode to the God levels it has today right? A port of UMvC3 from is day 0 buy.

Iron Galaxy are basically wizards when it comes to good netcode. Having them improve the UMvC3 netcode would be a godsend.

Basically, I don't want any budget wasted on such a small novelty. I can't remember the last time this sort of bullet point swayed sales for anything, especially if it already has a built-in fanbase.
Generally speaking, pretty much every rumour about this game concerns me one way or another. Nothing is bad as 2v2+1, with no X-Men being the 2nd most concerning thing (but I can look past that because you don't need X-Men to have a good game). I just hope that at least some of these are not true.

I'm really curious how they would combine them.
Some characters would need a redesign depending on the style. Right now it's more why would marvel even want to keep the capcom characters vs just a roster of their own

Realistically you'd have to ask how much it'd potentially boost sales. I don't think there's necessarily a crossover there, especially seen as it's not a genre / franchise (MvC, not marvel in general) that will sell near the amount it'd take for them to make that money back that they'd have to pay for said likenesses).
