They didn't turn against them because marvel doesn't own them. They turned because the movies fucking suck and they want them back under marvel so they can get a chance at being done right.

If that were the case they wouldnt be attacking the comics and lineage as well. And it wouldnt matter if Fox did make a good movie. They'd still act the same way. See Deadpool and the Xmen.

Fox owns the X-men movie rights, FF and Deadpool. There's no mention of X-men in any MCU film, nor the world mutant. You haven't watched a single one yet?

Because there is no x-gene in the mcu. All mutants are part of Xmen lore. Xmen lore is off limits.

No one can really prove that is still the case. We do know Constantin has production credits and distro rights in Austria/Germany. However, we know that Fox held the rights to Ego (in order to give it up in exchange for making changes to Negasonic). We also know Marvel wanted SS/Galactus back from Fox in exchange for giving an extension to Daredevil. Case in point, Fox probably owns them at this point.

While Marvel & Fox share the Skrulls as a race, Kl'rt/Super-Skrull is Fox-only because he has the Fantastic Four's powers. He's fucked.

Anecdotal, but no one I've ever known or spoken with has ever mentioned F4 in any way shape or form. It's not even negative things sAid, just nothing. They are culturally bankrupt as an IP.

Game will be better with out them.

What wil hurt is wolverine and Magneto missing because they are such legacy characters but wolverine move set/ archetype can very easily be given to like 3 or 4 different characters, Blavk Panther being the most obvious choice.

Magneto could likely be replaced by Vison. Flight, projectiles, quick movements, ect. But really I think he could be even more interesting than Mags in the end due to phasing thru things.

Storm can easily be replaced by Scarlet Witch if they really wanted to. Or a host of other female characters in the Marvel-verse. Captain Marvel, Emma Frost, the Ancient One, Song Bird... Plenty of choices.

As mentioned by myself and others Sentienl is an easy replacement with the Destroyer from Thor 1, or the Hulk Buster armor (why not both?)

SpiderGwen could be cool potentially- I really like her design but it might be difficult to differentiate her from Spider-Man , lots of web moves and whatnot, could be a shoto clone type situation.

Being a long time player of the VS series and always playing/having wolverine on my teams this bums me out on this game pretty hard. I'd rather wait until they came to an agreement before releasing the game.

I feel like this game should be called MCU vs Capcom instead of Marvel vs Capcom. Also not a big fan of the inhumans vs x-men thing Marvel is going to be doing.

I've been trying to push for Sigma forever. Classic X1 Sigma would be dandy. X4 with the tattered cloak? Cool. Sigma from X2 with the Wolverine claws? Dope. So many possibilities.

Then imagine him getting a Devil Trigger style level 3 that puts him in one of his final forms, like X3 Kaiser or something.

Also depends who's funding im sure Capcom and Sony must be the majority this doesn't really help Marvel, really they don't need to take the gamble.

I would like to see Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom. Future Fondation skinned Spider-Man. Galactus, Mephisto, Blackheart, Namor,etc.

Not all at one time, but those are FF-based characters I would like to be there
