YEAH YOU READ RIGHT!

Today, the company posted a net loss of 36.5 million euros ($48.5 million) for the six-month period ending September 30, 2004, versus a loss of 34.4 million euros ($45.7 million) a year ago for the same six-month period.

Not surprisingly, the company's statement accompanying the news was upbeat--and more prone to look ahead rather than dwell on the lackluster half-year figures. "The launches of two major products--Tom Clancy?s Ghost Recon 2 and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within--have been very encouraging: Ghost Recon 2 ranks third in November sales on Xbox in the United States while Prince of Persia Warrior Within sold more than twice as many copies in its first week than the original game," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said in a statement. Neither of those two recently released games, however, contributed to revenues in the six-month period in question.

Oh geez, I guess the angst actually paid off. :\

It's a good game, but I really disliked that new approach...

The Price was just way too pissed off.

It's also the most traded-in title as well!

We have gotten almost as many as we sold back in, surprisingly, especially with the PS2 version. GC one is selling steadily, though (sold out twice). It would've been difficult not to outsell the Sands of Time, in all honesty.

The game is not selling well at all. In fact, it will probably be one of the biggest bombs of the season. Ubi's PR just refers to the first week of sales, after which it seems to have fallen off a cliff.

It might be selling more, but that isn't exactly hard is it. It's still not selling in massive quantities though. Seems to be a difficult title to push for Ubisoft, I doubt EA would even pick it up :lol
