Why is Calvin with her again?

Listening to 1989 rn, and I will forever be pressed that "Wildest Dreams" is becoming a single, while the infinitely superior "Out of the Woods" will remain an album track. Shedding a tear right now, tbh.

:) how excited are y'all for the Rebel Heart tour is gonna be s-

Madonna has never been known for being demure, but insiders close to her Rebel Heart Tour preparation tell RadarOnline.com that her diva behavior has really crossed the line! With the 56-year-old’s latest tour set to kick off on September 9, it’s crunch time, and insiders say she is cracking under the pressure.

“Madonna is a real piece of work,” one insider told Radar. “On Monday night, the dancers declared mutiny on Madonna because she is working them way too hard. One dancer even went so far as to take off his credentials, throw it in her face and say, ‘F*ck you. I quit!’ She had to call security to protect her and escort her remaining dancers out!”

“On another occasion, one of her dancers broke her arm during rehearsals and instead of showing concern, Madonna had a nuclear meltdown,” the insider claimed. “Everyone is required to wear black head-to-toe at all times and she has said, in her own words, that there are ‘no fat c*nts allowed in her presence.’”

A second source close to production echoed the concerns of the first.

“This is by far the biggest production she has ever done,” the insider told Radar. “She is more demanding for this upcoming tour than she ever has been and wants everything done now. Madonna seems to expect everyone to drop every other project that they are working on to cater to her and make her tour their only priority in life. The problem is that she does not pay very well, but she knows that people that she hires will work countless hours at less than premium wage because she is Madonna.”

The source added, “Her ego is so over-inflated and she thinks that her staff are lucky to be in her presence. She been a complete nightmare to work for and the tour has not even started yet.”

eek I know she can be a bitch but I hope none of this is true

Stream Warm Blood, Run Away With Me, Making the Most of the Night, Your Type, Emotion, and All That on Spotify today!

Forget I Really Like You ever happened (just like everyone else.)

Post Confessions Madonna might as well not even exist. That is how inconsequential she is.

Y'all are mad. (crazy not angry) The good sis is about to embark on another sold out tour. As the only woman with 2 of the top grossing tours of all time, both for supposedly flop albums, I find your assertion specious, at best.

Pretty sure the hearing damaged person is whoever mixed Rebel Heart. It has some of the worst audio balance I have ever heard.

Better than stuff like Voices on Hard Candy that sounds like it's being recorded with a phone held up to a speaker that can't handle the bass. Seriously, it sounds like you're blowing your speaker, but it's just the shitty audio quality.

Charli XCX wrote Selena Gomez next single Same Old Love. Will this be the first time I listen a full song by Selena?

Good For You is a great song, while XCX's last album was eh... So you're missing out, and I'm not sure whether XCX's involvement is a good thing. Especially since she seems to wanna replicate the Fancy formula all the time.

Good For You slays. I paid coins for it.

Streaming via Spotify or Apple Music should be good enough for her.

At least it had decent reviews unlike Seleners last album.

Got in a pop mood and started listening to Britney Jean.

Really great album. Britney's been pretty consistent in her recent albums.

I don't remember this getting a lot of attention here.

In The Zone is pretty old, right?

I loved Femme Fatale, although many though it was repetitive in its stylings.

In The Zone is old but still part of her best.

Blackout
In The Zone
Circus/ Britney

Those are the usable albums in ranked form. Femme Fatale was mostly forgettable and Britney Jean not sure how much Britney actually recorded of her vocals and its mostly disappointing.

I feel like the Sucker is overrated, and in time people will realize it even though the review scores don't show it. (Mind you: I like the album just fine.) Sometimes people/reviewers need time to adjust to a sound/image/coolness of an artist, and therefore their scoring of said artists output also has a delay to it.

In the case of Charli XCX, her first EP and work were great but not really well known. Reviewers slowly come to realize she might be the next "it" girl, and once she finally drops her full feature album, they are quick to say it's awesome, giving it a score, keeping in mind the quality of her previous work. In other words, Sucker gets an inflated score because of True Romance.

Same thing happened with Lana Del Rey. At first she was quite a polarizing figure with the image she gives herself, her shitty live performances, and reviewers just saw her as an attention whore and a typical pop girl searching for an angle. Born to Die got mixed to positive reviews as a result. It's only later that reviewers/people realized her music was just really fucking good, regardless of her image or live performances, and they felt the need to adress that in their review scores for her follow up, ultraviolence, eventhough that album probably (when all is said and done) won't be remembered as fondly as BtD(Paradise). iirc there even is a section in the wiki article of BtD about how "in hindsight" the album was better than first acknowledged.

I'm ranting. :) Tldr: Good for you is great, True Romance > Sucker, Born to Die > Ultraviolence.

Agree with BTD>UV but Sucker and True Romance are different beasts that cater different audiences pretty well.

When will your favs have a discography worthy of a rerelease a la...

Guys, I think a part of Lana's music is finally clicking for me. I'm currently listening to ultraviolence with a certain kind of mood and it's working. It's dark & cohesive and is lyrically competent. So far i'm into it and enjoying the organic production. It's definitely not an album for everyone though.
