• She wants the album to be different stylistically - so she'll give the album a bit more of an R&B edge.
• "Early Mariah, Early Whitney" is what Sparks is going for since that's apparently what she's grown up on

I have never cared much for The Fame as MANY KNOW, it's an overlong album filled with way too much filler. The singles are great, yes.

Jordin's a great singer, but her tone is too shrill to do Whitney and she doesn't have the range or agility of Mariah.

One of the better vocalists to come out of Idol besides Kelly, though.
