Moar FAST.
Unfortunately the rain effect doesn't screenshot well because Tepenaca(sp?) Vale is beautiful, especially on the screen.

The lighting is super good on that track!
My photos all got some kind of shitty jpeg compression but this is the best quality I can get at the OS level.
So Switch screenshots is suddenly in portable section, huh?

We'll i guess the Switch is as portable as consoles get.
Some nice shots in this thread but please be mindful of spoilers.
I've been snapping some awesome shots of Zelda. What's the best way to export? I've been using Twitter/saving from Twitter to phone so far.
Switch needs an update to save as PNG and export to a host that doesn't compress them even more.

Console? What did you think the Switch was?
You can save the screenshots on a micro-SD card. But sadly those are just as compressed as the Twitter/Facebook exported ones.Switch needs an update to save as PNG and export to a host that doesn't compress them even more.
Let's be real for a moment. Have you seen a Switch?Console?
These Zoras sure are a funny bunch 😂

Since the switch games run with differences between the docked and undock, I believe that you can put the undock screens here, no?
And, of course, the docked images on the console screenshot thread.
For Zelda at least. According to Digital Foundry the graphics are exactly the same between Zelda docked and undocked. Literally exactly the same outside of resolution and since the system outputs screenshots in 720p regardless I can't seem their being a need to differentiate.
Of course if a game has a difference outside of resolution there of course should be a differentiaotion.

Wouldn't screenshots still look (ever so slightly) different since the game is rendered in 900p instead of 720p? Even in a 720p screenshot, the 900p render should look a bit cleaner than a 720p render, no?I have no clue about these things, so I might just be spouting nonsense.
Holy crap that looks insane.
Some shots of my own

How the hell are people having screen shots from Breath of the Wild that look so damn clean?
On my Switch screen itself is doesn't look that clean, and when posting to twitter/saving to phone/computer....they sure as hell don't look as clean as the shots here
Those particular shots are just.... twitter images uploaded to imgur.
Twitter seems to be of the same quality as taking shots directly from the SD-card. Facebook, on the other hand, compresses them further.
And you took those in handheld mode? I swear they look better than the game looks when I'm playing directly on the switch. Haha. The couple I've uploaded to twitter look jaggy as all hell
Was for certain taken in handheld mode (although I think this was a facebook upload)
Because Nintendo themself says it's a consoleSwitch is as much as a portable as Vita. Just because it has a dock that can be played on the tv doesn't make the handheld device portion any less of a portable. If having a dock disqualifies it then PSTV disqualifies Vita.
It's way more powerful than last gens handhelds but, hey thats how gaming progress goes.![]()
Because Nintendo themself says it's a console![]()
Agree, but that is still not what Nintendo is sayingAt the end of the day, all the power is in a small portable device with a screen and physical controls. You can play natively without having the dock, but you can't play at all without having the Switch tablet. Despite what Nintendo says, logic says this is a portable that connects to a TV and not a home console you can take on the go. The entire point of the term "home console" as opposed to "portable console" is to say the system can't be used outside of the home, so if it can, it's a portable.
Yup. Exactly where they belong. So Switch screenshots is suddenly in portable section, huh?
