Why all the hate for HTTT? It's certainly better than Amnesiac.

2+2=5
Sail to the Moon
Where I End and You Begin
There There
A Punchup at a Wedding
Myxomatosis
Scatterbrain
A Wolf at the Door

All great songs.

It's not their best, but it's not their worst.

I think it's ok, and on the same level than amnesiac. But Ok isn't good enough for Radiohead (unless the ok refers to OK Computer).

I listened to HTTT sooooooooooo fucking much over that past two years its crazy. From bootleg live songs all the way to the final record versions.

I love the cd so much and I just don't understand why it gets any hate at all.

Wolf at the Door >>>>>>>>> pretty much everything

I think it's really good. Plenty of great songs. I was going to list my favorites but looking through the playlist it's pretty solid the whole way through.

I also love this album as I do most of Radioheads releases, most people just hate because they want them to sound like they did on The Bends (which is the leet album) I also love The Bends but am not blinded by "I liked them firstism" and can admit that it is not their best work ......IMO of course ;)

The bends is the sound I like tho. Its like how garbage hasnt put out a CD I liked since 2.0. Its not about being first or being l33t, its about listening to what you like.

Amneziak

aka The Hound
I love most of Radiohead's albums, my favorite being HttT (Myxomatosis is probably my favorite on this one). I actually prefer their albums in reverse order, with Pablo Honey being my least favorite.

Favorite Radiohead song ever: In Limbo

For those who still like The Bends the best, there is a recent song called Gagging Order that is a B-side for certain HttT singles (Go to Sleep is one, I think...). It is a close second favorite for me and sounds like it came right off of The Bends.

I agree, I just have the misfortune of knowing a lot of smug Radiohead fans who are like that.

[edit] also my original post was directed towards fans of The Bends ( like you ) it was for people who hated and trashed everything after The Bends, It's one thing to not like OKC or KId A but to trash those albums is just plain wrong.....

I like HTTT, has some great songs on it. And while I like the Bends, I prefer their later work a lot more, though it was good. I don't see any practical reason to hate it, I like how it sounds, that's all that should matter.

OK computer is still their best for me but I liked HTTT as well. It's just that with their later ones, there are songs on there that are just to depressing and weird for me to enjoy (I Will, some Kid A stuff, a lot of Amnesiac) I really didn't like sail to the moon either.

I really enjoyed HTTT.

Some of the songs that received more critical acclaim (There, There) I didn't like THAT much, but I love listening to 2+2=5, Scatterbrain, A Wolf At The Door, Sit Down, Stand Up, Sail To The Moon, Myxymatosis.

Though it goes against a lot of people's order, my favorites are as follows:

Ok Computer > Hail To The Theif > Amnesiac > The Bends > Kid A > Pablo Honey.

Though...if it were allowed, I would place their Live "I Might Be Wrong" CD at the front of this list.

Any word on a new album? I heard some rumors a little while back, but nothing concrete.
