Powerpuff Girls add a fourth sister...

The design is not as much a problem as the dynamic. What would she bring to the team? We already have the leader and smart one with Blossom, the fun one with Bubbles, and the angry one with Buttercup.

The joke is that Bubbles is the angry one!

This reboot is terrible so I can't begrudge them for trying to do something to change the dynamic a bit, even if it's destined to end in failure.

Oh never mind. She does have a love interest though.

I still insist the design screams "big sister" archetype, so im guessing she'd be a sensible role model kind of character.

Sister got hips

Kinda reminds me of that one TMNT TV show that added a 5th Turtle... also light blue colour!
e: Ah already posted. And jesus, those turtle suits look creepier than I remember

Other than that tho, whatever, she looks alright, could be neat, I'm okay with this.

Back in the schoolyard where we all loved homophobic slurs and were too dumb and scared to tell each other that we watched girl shows, I remember one of my friends said that any guy whose favourite Powerpuff Girl wasn't Buttercup had to be gay because Buttercup was the strongest, manliest one. The rest of us proceeded to explain that actually Bubbles was the strongest, and if he respected the strongest, than he should join the rest of us and declare Bubbles as the best Powerpuff.

The only thing I can think of people complaining, would be a racist and body shaming reason. It seems most of you can't recognize positive change for the sake of inclusivity.

And the only reason I can think of as to why you would defend this horrible design is its inclusive nature, how's that?

The big head and small hips don't look right. She would probably be fine with classic Powerpuff proportions.

I was just explaining to my mom the other day that there's an episode of the Powerpuff Girls where they made a mentally challenged sister to use as a slave, and who died at the end of the episode.

I felt so horrible after I watched that episode on Netflix with my toddler..."Bunny Don't Cryyyyy, Bunny Bunny!" Was her household and outdoors catch phrase for a solid week.

I thought it was fucking hilarious I am a horrible person

LOL, this got me good. (Us FL bros need all the levity we can get)

As for the the poster asking for a boy. We already have the Rowdyruff Boys.
Actually, no. We do not have The Rowdyruff Boys. I think CN pretends they don't exist anymore, because after season 5 they straight up disappeared from everything. My dream spiff-off show would be about Him and Mojo Jojo trying to raise them as a family.

Did the animation just drop dramatically since I last saw this series or was my old remembrance just pure nostalgia?

Also this series is still going?

I don't mind a new character, but it kinda reeks of a lack of ideas this far along into the reboot. They should've done something like this when it first started.

But the character really looks out of place for no good reason. Why is she larger than the other sisters? And the color of the hair really seems out of place compared to the original trio as well. It gives off the impression of being someone's self-insert OC.

The reboot series has a significantly poorer animation quality compared to the 90s original, among other insufficiencies.

Why did you quote me

It's like the only way to do diversity.

Uhhhhhh No? Shoehorning exactly one person of color in a show like this is not the way to go. At this rate she's the token minority and there is no tact or class with how it's being handled either.

Why are they cramming several different groups into one character?

Why does she not fit the art style of the other girls?

Why does she have crazy hair when the other girls have tame hair?

If they wanted to be more diverse why wasn't she in the reboot's conception to begin with?

Why is she the only positive poc in the show?

I would have preferred them filling out the supporting cast with POC and having them receive growth over various episodes compared to this. Maybe could have gotten some cool superhero/heroine allies out of it instead of this one lackluster design.
