Holy crap this was incredibly awesome. I loved the art and the story was wonderful. Does the following story Arc live up to this one? This would be great as an animated feature. At first I was a little dissapointed with the ending, then I realized it was exactly what I wanted. Deeskuss.

Overall, Powers is one helluva series, with most story arcs living up to the original "Who Killed Retro Girl?" storyline. If you loved the first volume, I'm positive that you'll love the rest.

Personally, I think Bendis' skill at plotting is rather weak compared to his dialogue and characterization (which are fucking fantastic). Regardless, it's a great series.

I still need to pick it up. I read a few issues of the following story arc, Roleplay, and that was great as well. Bendis, Oeming, and Powers are all awesome.
