Yeah, drives me nuts too. Just started the game - had to choose normal.Ah got yaI sorta hate when they do that but good to know
Fast Moves is SUPER strictI'm about 5 hours in or so and I'm really enjoying it. I think this game would be a full tier worse than it is if this wasn't an interconnected area where you could return to previous areas and all linked to a "safe room" hub. If this was just a linear area to area until you beat it kinda game, it would really hurt the experience. They did good deciding to structure it this way. And combat is a ton of fun and I just love sci fi settings.
Deciding between Critical Shot and Fast Moves for my ability. Any recommendation?
So about an hour into this game just kind of feeling it out liking it so far just like the demo. Gameplay feels good. Finally made it back to the main area to upgrade a little bit and I'm confused about one thing in the weapons section it says press X to print or upgrade but when I start pressing X it wants you to hold it down and I feel like it's going to print another one but I already have one. Or is it that both of those things happen at the same time? I want to upgrade the weapon.
Okay I think I understand. Thanks! The first tier upgrade at the terminal makes an unlimited number of prints of that weapon/hack available at the departure gate
Subsequent tiers permanently power that same weapon/hack up
PSO1 without the Loot Farming but added light puzzle platforming. You really just farm the one main currency as you progress and locate premium currency pickups for upgrades. Are there any games that this is comparable to? Asking out of curiosity. You guys are making this hard not to buySomeone mentioned Binary Domain and those are the vibes I've always gotten from seeing it.
It shares some elements with Resident Evil and what do you mean it has boss fights? Resident Evil has boss fights. Perhaps Requiem barely had any but on a whole the series most definitely has boss fights. Not sure what kind of statement that is..
Paasei Would not compare to Resident Evil. Two different genres. And Pragmata actually has boss fights.

Yes it suck, you can only play Lunatic mode once you've finished the game. But you can't do Lunatic mode in New Game+, such a strange decision from CapcomAh got yaI sorta hate when they do that but good to know
You're right you wouldn't be able to move, or more importantly direct your thruster escape. As-is you can't aim while hacking. How are you going to aim, move around etc. If the hacking was on the d-pad. Controls are perfectly fine as they are. Just remap the buttons/keys if you're so inclined.
Getting the perfect on that challenge is quite doable just hitting one at a time, the rocket launcher seems to reload-ready and fire again sooner if you fire less rockets so it's not such a big gain chaining loads of lock-ons. It might be you can only lock-on to extra targets within the big aiming square after the first lock-on without losing earlier locks but I've not tested it.Okay I am trying the training simulation for the rocket launcher and the lock on system for this thing is OUTRAGEOUSLY BAD
I have restarted this over and over and I can't figure out what in the fuck the thing is doing. It beeps and makes a graphic on them but then that isn't a lock. You push and hold the trigger and it seems like that is supposed to load missiles into a lock but it just straight up doesn't half the time. It seems unbalanced in the amount of missiles it loads to different enemies, and it seems to completely let go of a lock that it already loaded onto some.
This might be the only training mission I just leave undone because this weapon is hot trash. I have never seen a worse missile weapon in any game.
I'm 14h in before what seems the last "stage" and completing the others at 100% (with just some VR missions left to complete)so what is the 'real' length of the game realistically now that GAF'ers have it in hands?
I'm at 7h25' and just beat the third boss. There's at least 2 more areas after this, and I've only been able to 100% the first area so far, because you need upgrades to clear area 2 and 3 that I don't have yet. I'm taking my time, not rushing things, and I'm doing the optional challenges when they become available. So I guess 12 hours could be my final time when all is said and done, perhaps more.so what is the 'real' length of the game realistically now that GAF'ers have it in hands?
That's correct. You're not going to 100% an area the first time through it.I do Wonder though it says I haven't unlocked everything in the first area my initial instinct is to go back and try to unlock everything but I remember seeing those barriers I could not pass and wonder if the unlockables I missed are behind those barriers and therefore a place I can't get to right now. Is that correct?
7 hours on ps5 and almost have the platinum trophyso what is the 'real' length of the game realistically now that GAF'ers have it in hands?
