Priebus has been fired as WH Chief of Staff, replaced by General John F Kelly

Poor Priebus

He was the gop establishment rep in the administration.

Without him expect more incompetence and more isolation from the party.

So.... How many firings and resignations already?

Absolutely bonkers. When does the Republican establishment finally revolt against Trump? He's running roughshod all over them. It's pathetic, but also cathartic to watch.

There is a good chance that Sessions will be made DHS head, to "preserve" his "dignity". Session's has been seen to focus on immigration, which the DHS head is also in control of. That would let Trump appoint a new AG, who would then fire Mueller.

Grassley already said that Trump wouldn't get another appointment this year for AG. If Sessions left, he'd be stuck with Rosenstein.

He's their useful idiot for now. This is a big step closer to a public schism, which can't happen soon enough.

Why is this a big deal?

Arguably beyond proving how unproductive and incompetent the management of the WH is, there is reason to believe Priebus(while a PoS himself) was still acting as a top-line filter for the GOP agenda and Trump's idiocy.

Certainly there was zero ability to deafen that megaphone, but rumors for months have circulated that a lot of the internal strife against Priebus involved him trying to suppress the Mad King and avoid as much PR blunders as possible(Don't tweet! Don't fire Comey! Don't attack Sessions! etc...).

Trump obviously gave zero shits and hated the self-inflicted negative press(which Priebus, Spicer, et al. bore the blame). So now the Mooch starts acting as wormtongue, whispering in his ear "as your will my lord! Do whatever!" Why would Trump presume he needs Priebus any longer? This is going to accelerate the insanity unless the General can actually discipline Xerxes.

Having a general as a Chief of Staff is what you see in dictatorships or a tyrant. Scaramucci and his mountains of cocaine controlling the information and trying to get reporters to give up their sources is also scary.

Mueller better find something and soon before Trump does something that lots of people wonder he would do.

Please, don't give him and the administration that much credit.

Does make me wonder. At what point, if Trump is more or less ignoring all Republican policy and just doing his own thing does he stop being useful? In what capacity is he still useful to them right now, especially with the repeal just blowing up? They probably don't much care about The Wall, and they probably don't want to hand over a chunk of Manhattan to Russia, so how else does Trump remain an asset? Just for future signatures on bills they haven't yet thought up?

Right as soon as orange turd supporters turn on their dear leader. That won't happen ever, those people are as brainwashed as North Koreans who worship Kim Jong-un

1. Pump the breaks on Sessions being moved to DHS, everyone. Even if he does it's the same optically as firing him. Meaning the result -- getting Mueller fired -- will still be a Saturday Night Massacre -style fuckup.

2. I'm an eternal optimist, but losing Reince after the GOP shitting the bed on live television last night, while the GOP came out in support of Sessions, after the GOP largely came out against the anti-trans effort in the military all combine to a suddenly very lonely and encircled Trump.

3. It took 10 more months after the SNM before Nixon resigned.

Don't panic. Stay vigilant. Things will get much worse before they improve.

I get this weird feeling that Trump is going to split, officially, from the Republican party and establish some new party with some weird ass name.

Wow. Holy Shit. If things are already a dumpster fire currently its gonna be a fucking satellite fire with flaming debris everywhere from now on.

Priebus is allegedly largely responsible for Trumps election (Trump is source on that)and arguably the only competent person in Trump's entire administration, with the exception of Mattis.

Things are going to get even more ridiculous, I can feel it.

He is probably exactly stupid enough to do that and to call it The America First party after being talked out of The Trump Party.
