It's actually a mindshare mentality i see on different social platforms. its about everywhere really. people want to downplay anything xbox/ms. no real contribution other than telling others that their choice of entertainment is wrong/stupid because their personal taste in an entertainment form is different.
its sad they need attention by being a bully.

I'm literally excited to see 4k footage of the following;
RDR2, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, Forza 7*, Destiny 2, Cod WWII, Battlefront 2 and many more games that are third party and first party.
I really hope they publish these trailers on youtube in 4k. i want to watch them, but i dont want to download them.

No. I'm too pessimistic. I couldn't be sold on the rapture if people were vanishing before my eyes. I saw the DF as smart advertising and pandering to insecure gamers. Sony did the same with the Cerny article where they flew John out.
I saw it as great advertising and smart promotion. All the apologetic stuff about letting gamers down and getting devs back went in one ear out the other. Xbox is doing fine buy normal standards just not PS4 numbers. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Where they got hurt in addition to price was the power perception and that is why the Scorpio exists. Smart move because if this works they just created an even higher price point for the "premium console". I that good who knows.

MS needs to show me some amazing new games and/or significantly better VR than whats on PlayStation before I can get too excited. But I'm cautiously optimistic.

Since Sony is the one with the marketing for RDR2, Destiny 2, Cod WW2, and Battlefront, you might not see any promo material for them until closer to launch, not at E3
I think you might also see more first party showings for Scorpio than third party. It'll be something MS are trying to get right, and internal teams are the best thing for that...something from 343 and the Coalition among others
I think most of that fanboy crap will dampen down when we actually see gameplay of those three games and see the depth of each of them. I think a fallout 4 style presentation for each would build a lot of excitement, it seems people find it hard to get excited by a very small thin unveiling and lack of information or deep gameplay that each of these games have had. It's what Sony does so much better than Ms is presenting the games, It's something Ms really has to work on. When state of decay gets unveiled in a one minute teaser with half of it being CGI and showing nothing about the gameplay, with God of war being presented so much better.

There are plenty that don't. I think the majority of people I've seen are expecting $499, especially since DF said they were expecting that as well.

Because people wanted these games for years and they are now in development? Sounds simple enough to me.
In addition to that, Nier A was was announced at the same E3 in a more low key fashion, but still in the same level of hype for me.

I think they'll need a bit more than 10 minutes to talk it through.
An hour and half is fine, why 2 hours? They always dedicate time to new features and sometimes hardware, how is this any different?
All that's really left for the hardware is the form factor, price and date. The features will probably take about 10 minutes or so. Holo lens for example took up a lot of time, this would just use that time.

I don't know. I went through that with SC2 which pulled the exact same shit and I can't imagine that in a decades times when the games are finally out people will feel differently. Talking mostly about FF7R here. There's just warning signs galore.
How the hell is that PR? Last time I checked, people mainly buy multiplats and like having the most capable system to play them on. Xbox Live is most definitely better than PSN as well, especially in terms of their policies.

I don't know what to tell ya. These types of deals usually don't include even putting up PC footage if they have console contracts in place, even though that is far and away the place that will show off their games the best.
