No, actually that's wrong. Using your formulation it should be...

X-Box 360 = (PlayStation 2.25) + (Playstation 2.25)*0.5 = PlayStation 3.375.

You can't just add an arbitrary .5 in there without applying some meaning to it. It's like adding a vector to a scalar...ya just can't do it!

Man...some people just need to learn math.
