I tried the ios one just recently and hated it( this was to shut up a friend who was telling me i shouldn't buy a Vita for Lumines because i can just play it on my phone), that was kinda just an aside to what ubisoft has said about putting their handheld stuff on ios to make more money.
I think PSP had the best launch line-up of its time, but now Vita improved it.The launch lineup pretty much the same as the PSP.
Lumines --- Lumines Electronic Symphony
Wipeout --- Wipeout 2048
Hot Shot Golf : Open Tee --- Hot Shot Golf : World Invitation
Ridge Racer --- Ridge Racer
Darkstalkers --- Marvel vs Capcom
Dynasty Warriors --- Dynasty Warriors Next
Ape Escape --- Escape Plan (ok i know i am stretching this)
Some random sports games --- Some random sports games
Some random racing games --- Some random racing games
The only difference is Uncharted. Which probably replaces Metal Gear Acid in terms of brand recognition.
Twisted Metal: Head On is replaced by Modnation Racers: Road Trip
Did TM: HO have online? I can't find my UMD...
Yes it did. That's why you can't say it's a replacement.
Has anyone got any videos/screens of what PSP games look like on Vita, I fancy picking up some games i missed first time round when it launches (assuming they are in the store)
Well, I fully expect Lumines Vita to be on another platform. It doesn't even have the "Only on PlayStation" tag. It doesn't really seem like it is all that Vita feature extensive either, which would follow with Ubisoft's mantra of easy ports.
So, I guess Wipeout is officially $40. Walmart, BB, and GS are charging $40. I'm keeping my $30 Amazon preorder...Thank god for their pre-order price guarantee.
Oh =[ That's very disappointing. I was looking forward to playing PS3 while my friends used the TV to play Halo.Nope. It can barely play any; it currently only supports the PS3 games that already had Remote Play functionality, which is not many.
What the hell, is that guy on a boat? That clicking/rocking noise is annoying as hell.
Using a hacked psp I believe you could remote play just about any game. Its probably still being done through the psp emu on vita.![]()
I filed my tax return this afternoon and I think I'm going to be temped to jump on board for launch next month.
Is there any word on PSX playback yet?
Is Sigma Plus a launch title?Still on the fence about it, but here's what I'm considering:
Wifi Model
16 GB mem card
Cradle
Lumines
Rayman Origins
If I have enough money:
Dynasty Warriors Next
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Is Sigma Plus a launch title?
Tecmo Koei confirmed Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for PlayStation Vita will launch on February 22, 2012, the same day as the launch of the Vita itself.
@ Gamestop today, my Vita is paid off there and I asked about memory thinking to pay some of that off until he said the price was $25 and $35 for 4/8gb?
I'd like to know this too :3
GameStop is ripping off their customers, some of their prices on games are $10 more than what you could get from Amazon.
Hopefully no one buys those games from them.
Regarding the PS1 games, they don't work yet on the Vita but Sony is working on an update to fix that in the near future.(I hope)
What I Own
Imported Japanese Vita (Yes, I’m an impatient dumbass), 8 GB Memory Card, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Power Smash 4, Ridge Racer, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3
What I Plan to Buy at the US Launch
First Edition Bundle, 2 32 GB Memory Cards, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND, Hot Shots Golf, wipEout 2048, Touch My Katamari, Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, ModNation Racers, Virtua Tennis 4, Rayman Origins, Lumines: Electronic Symphony, FIFA, Ridge Racer, Dynasty Warriors NEXT, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Escape Plan, Super StarDust Delta
[...]
Realize this is a lot of money but I’ve already resolved to make the Vita my primary console this year, so fuck it.

Now really... is the same level of AA applied in-game? I've heard some people saying that the game is jaggy, others saying that there's a nice amount of AA... I need the truth!
It does do a small AA pass when saving photos, but in-game? I think it looks amazing. There is some aliasing on certain things - sometimes the engine wash can look a little less than smooth, but that's rare. In motion? Imagine playing Pulse HD given a buff of the Fury treatment. Their visual construction is effortlessly similar and super slick.
In regards to filters in photo mode, you can toggle focal points, blur, depth of field, you can pan, rotate, zoom etc. I didn't toy much in HD's mode, so I cannot compare from memory.
But it's very intuitive, especially with the touchscreen.
The graphical showcase of the system, though - as expected. Doesn't skip a beat, either.
How are the load times? Same as the demo?

I want a 3G Vita because I keep thinking What if they only release certain games for the 3G version? and itd piss me off if I werent able to play something I wanted. I do regret importing a Vita but at least I have a backup I can take to work and not give a shit about if it gets broken.
I'm double downing on certain games because I like them and want them in English as I dont know any Japanese.

Pretty lengthy, yeah. Restarts take no more than five seconds, though. The load times are the only downside, other than - due to timeline - no EG-X.
EG-X is an anti gravity racing team based on China and Finland but headquarters are in Finland. Formed in 2172 when F9000 League superpowers Xios and EG-R merged, EG-X was something of an unknown quantity going into the inaugural season of the FX350 League.
I posted this before it is real he just using a CFW ps3, in his other video he actually back out and goes to the vita home screen
i seriously doubt it is officially 40 bucks. this was in an email from sony a day ago:

This may have been covered in page 30 or something, but does Gravity Rush have a concrete release date? Thought it was supposed to be a launch title, but the lack of pricing and retailer listing has me concerned. Amazon lists it for May 29th.
So do we have a full, official launch lineup yet? Are Gravity Daze and Sound Shapes making the cut?
I'm surprised no one is talking about Escape Plan. That's suppose to be available on PSN at launch. It seems like a title that is using the back touch pad in a good way.
