I don't think any PS2 games run in high def, just progressive scan.

Anyway, first question: are you sure you have the cables plugged in right, and are you sure your TV is on the right video input.

Also, does the video input (Let's say "Video 1" for example) have more than one set of plugs? Like, does it have componeant as well as S-Video and/or composite? If so, check your TV's menus. You might have to select which set of plugs to associate "Video 1" with.

Here's my tv right here...

It has like 3 component , 3 svideo, and sevel other stuff....

I have the plugs in the right color i think.... It's hard back there, but i can see a little, and i think i got it right, but i have switched it arround some also... so i sure there pluged in right...

and it is on the right video input... the tv will register that it has something in there, just that there is no video coming out of it..

I already hooked up my pc to the tv using svideo yesterday... but i was wanting to play some games..

edit: I guess i should post the link to my tv, i ment to, but forgot to paste it...http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc/product/b2c_product_detail.jsp?eUser=&prod_id=HLP5067WX%2fXAA

I know some ps2 games support 480p.. like burnout 3... do you have to put the game is that mode or does it do it automatically?
