The whole spiel about Blu-ray not allowing porn is that both Sony and Disney won't allow porn to be produced at their duplication facilities. Sony probably doesn't have the resources to allow anyone else to use their equipment, and I doubt Disney wants to risk the chance of a disgruntled employee "mistakingly" putting a copy of 1080Penis Palace into a Finding Nemo case.
 
There's some things I don't need to see in 1080p to enjoy it. This is one of them, but that's just me. I bet some people can't wait to see every pube in that full detail.

You would think so until you see that the anime studios are also having their hd format wars.

Toshiba is also a Japanese company, too.

Ah okay, that makes more sense now. I thought Sony won't allow Porn to use BD at all

They also said that the porn industry really doesn't matter at this point. Porn is readily available on the net and it will not have a big impact on this format war. Studio support is key.

I don't think it was ever. I forget the instance but I remember a couple cases when I used to write about and for the adult film industry of wrong DVD put in the wrong packaging a couple times. Once I think it was a Disney movie; they are almost all family films 99% time when we heard about it.

I always thought it was a video store clerk playing a prank, but at least one disc had all the right labeling and all the very wrong Double Anal Content on the inside.

Hmm...I wonder if that contributes to the reason that Disney doesn't want porn to be produced at the same duplication facilities as their movies. Maybe it is to ensure that if there are any mixups in movies, that at least they are not with porn movies.

I don't know where people get that idea from. German porn is about as normal as US porn. Of course there is the odd fetish stuff but nothing the USA doesn't deliver in ten times the amount.

this is a nothing victory.

the fact that Japanese pr0ns are censored makes the fact that you have blocky pixelated unseeable 'junk' in hidef absolutely pointless.

And i should know... *hides disk collection*

Thanks to the Lazlow Show, I am now familiar with paint enemas.
 
oh and P.S. the source for most of these disk is pretty low quality, so you get a HD version of a low def shoot, where you can't see whats going on.

Gah.
