i get past the message of the day and then it just takes me back to the beginning and says an error. retarded

There's no new items available anywhere yet. However all of the ones from the beta are there and they are expensive! $0.99 for every individual item I've seen so far. The summer house costs $4.99. I've probably got $30 of free shit right from the beta. :lol

Jeepers, these game spaces are packed.

I definitely think the load times improved...the Far Cry and Uncharted spaces load quickly for me anyway. Like maybe 10-12 seconds or so. It seems a lot faster than it was in closed beta.
 
Also Pulse is streaming on the monitors throughout the mall. I'm amazed at how well Home is running and how well they've got the advertisements going.
 
After I accepted the agreement and stuff, it just keeps loading with a blurred screen of the home logo (with www. on the corner). I've been sitting there for a while.

.99c for each individual piece of clothing and furniture? Ouch. Most of that "free" clothing should have been included in the sparse selection you initially get anyway.

Where are you (NA) guys seeing it? PSN store doesn't even have today's stuff yet, and under listings for Home all there is is a theme and a video.

I saw some $.49 items in the mall. In fact, most of the clothing was.

Nope, read the forums a bit ago and CydoniaX (basically the Home SCEA Liason) said we wouldn't have to. I think there may be a small patch though when we log in. I'll see when I get home.

Yes it is an excuse. A pretty good one. Ever tried to get something that ambitious approved accross 50-100 countries, all with different intellectual property laws? As far as why you can't watch or listen to music or movies in your own apartment, not much point in that. Just bring up your XMB. The only point in doing it in your apartment was in sharing it with your friends, but if that can't happen, not much reason IMO for them to enable it in your apartment.

You can't find it in the Store. Just scroll through your XMB.

I placed the galaga arcade cab from the namco museum beta in my house, now it tells me I should reenter the redeem code for namco museum to play this :(
 
It's not at the store, the icon will show up over the store icon on the XMB.

You have to restart your console if it was already on during the update.
 
Ok I see it now after my 5th time of restarting (and I paused something else I was dloading, not sure if that made a difference)
 
Oh no... i am in Portugal and the software thinks i speak Spanish... its all in Spanish!
Anyone knows how to change the language?

Almost 2 years. That's how long it's been since they demonstrated video & picture sharing from Home. Remember when Phil would take pictures of the audience and put it in a Home frame during every presentation? It was a huge bullet point. Almost 2 years, and they obvously thought about it longer then that. That should be plenty of time to iron out issues. Hell LBP does a very similar thing (place your own pictures in levels) and it came out before Home did.

Also there is a point in having personal media if only just for yourself. It makes your Home apt YOURS. Otherwise your home apt is NO DIFFERENT then some other shmoe's.

It must be getting hammered. I downloaded it fine, but every time I try to connect, it says connection to the server was lost.

I am pretty sure it's not a technical issue at all, it's a legal issue. That's the point. Plus, now the focus is moreso on gaming, and less so on social aspects. Isn't that what everyone here wants? :lol

much respect to ubisoft and naughty dog for putting the game spaces together. all developers should be doing them, it really gets people interested in the games. the movie theatre is already full of comments about how HAWT hayley is in the paramore video :lol

Same here. I get the Message of the Day then I hit continue and get a 'Network Error server was lost C-991' message. I hope I don`t miss the Dance Party. LOL
