So I updated Home after a few months of not using it... wow is it fast now! No more ridiculously slow loading between areas. Maybe I'll use it more now.

Two new Redbull spaces opens up this week:

To complement the existing Red Bull Air Race World Championship mini-game, Red Bull will unleash two brand new spaces that will appeal to sports fans and beach bunnies alike. The first, an exhibition of action and adventure sports photographs from Red Bull Illume. The winning photograph from each of the competition’s ten categories is displayed on large illuminate cubes, imitating the real-life exhibit. The second is a Red Bull Flugtag mini-game where users can compete against one another by launching one of five wild flying machines off of a 30-foot high deck in hopes of achieving flight. Think: The Wright Brothers… or that time you and your genius buddies decided to pile into your wagon and take a ride off the roof. He who flies the farthest wins the high spot on the space’s leaderboard. And he that visits these new spaces (and the Theater) to learn more about the art of Red Bull Flugtag during opening week may just win a PSPgo or Rock Band PSP3000 bundle.

Home has turned to shit lately. Events that occur always end up not being what they are advertised as. Missing items galore(lost my Resistance 2 hoody...FUCK! Hardest reward to date, gone.) and idiot management. Most of the time if something goes wrong during the events, no official respond will be given till 3 days after the fact.

Yes. Just go to the XMB->Home->Triangle->Delete

Keep the save data file in the save data utility somewhere.

Cruz: I lost my fucking Siren Alcove and they haven't said shit other than "THERE MAY BE A PATCH LOLOLOLOL" so fuck them. The Home management for the most part has been misguided and leaving people in the dark about shit until it is nearly an hour or two upon us. Not very good.

As for the Red Bull space: It's kinda dull. I didn't see much shit there and couldn't find the flugtag game. Meh.
 
Finally deleted Home off of my HDD after one quick tour of the EU Home and absolutely nothing of interest or free in the stores. Gave me back like 3gb. It felt like I'd just taken a really satisfying shit :lol I feel so refreshed! :D

I thought before it was impossible to get back the space Home sectioned onto the HDD, was that changed in a recent update or has it always been like that?

Groove Armada are launching their new album Black Light with the first ever gig inside Home, the virtual world for PS3.

Users, who appear as avatars, will be able to watch the video by visiting the Presentation Podium area.

However, it is not the first 3D virtual world to act as a concert venue.

Second Life, which has around 16 million registered users, has played host to 80s stars Duran Duran and rapper Talib Kweli.

There is even a tribute band - U2 in SL - who have lookalike avatars and play the band's songs.

Groove Armada's Black Light is their first studio album in two years.

The duo say it will show a "darker" side of their music.

I had always been a little hopeful about Home but after the last big update in the fall it was apparent they they weren't serious about fixing any of the major issues that keep it from being anything more then an industry joke.

To me it just seems strange that people still use the "it's in the firmware" thing and yet a first party product doesn't have a feature. I might actually sit in home and socialize with people if I had a few options in this area.

Went into Home today to get new free stuff, and I saw a sign that made me laugh. It was showing off different official Home games for different days, and one of them was Heist, which isn't out, and honestly I'm kinda doubting it ever will be at this point. There was also a scavenger hunt for free copies of Dinner Dash, thought about spending hours trying to get it (they released a piece of the code every hour) but decided not to. Glad I didn't. The code was leaked on the internet somehow a couple of hours before they'd even finished releasing it in Home and all 50 copies were gone. Apparently this is not the first time it's happened either.

Another WTF is this bullshit moment: Apparently, to get today's "gift" from the "Festive Tree" on Playstation Home US... you have to BUY another item. WTF? To top it off it's a MALE-ONLY item that'll activate the event to get this item, so female-item purchasers are up a creek without a paddle as well.

US PS Home is such a joke. :lol

The zombie one wouldn't be bad because you only have to be invited by someone stupid enough to buy a personal space (since there is jack shit to do there) for the zombie stuff. It's a "viral" gift to anyone.

This event (that I actually participated and won Warhawk/Socom from) is just a slap in the face to everyone that doesn't want to spend $.50 on a fucking Ninja costume piece to get a plush "free" item.

I did that event wearing all Black, which was valid as they said. I go to see what the new gift is and eyes-light-up at it. "Hey, saving that outfit from earlier this year pays of--Wait, what? I have to buy the Ninja outfit, seriously!? Fuck that noise."

Yea, they could have done it all black again and been much better.

Then again, some see it as a loyalty thing. Not everyone gets everything. You buy more, you get rewarded with more.

You should have both. Wait at least ten minutes. I didn't get a pop-up but when I went back to my space they were both there.

Guitar isn't worth the hoopla over it, it's so fucking tiny. Check ornaments for both. At least the Ninja looks cool on the Halloween code Coffen Couch.

Pretty awesome stuff in there oO Probably the best I've seen yet. At least I HOPE it's all rewards, I aint paying for any of that.

The costumes are worth moniez. Don't be so cheap. ;)

If the Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4 content sold 200,000 units in Home, I imagine the Final Fantasy content will do some decent numbers and generate a lot of revenue.
