Be sure to check out Madden 25, then. It is, quite literally, exactly the same as previous gen's offerings, though in 1080p.... Need For Speed Rivals. Go figure. Probably the least graphically impressive of the bunch.

How do you install a game? Getting disc errors when I try to play killzone
If I'm lucky I get to play 5 min before the system is asking me to shut down the game because the disc is corrupted
Am I the only one who had trouble finding the power button on day 1? Lmao
I'm starting to think my PS4 is borked. On my 18/1.5 connection via Wi-Fi, the 323MB FW update is estimated to finish downloading in about two hours. My downloads went at normal speed (about 2MB/s) on Sunday, but now they are just as bad as they were on launch day. What gives?
does the ps4 show the total time played of a game, like steam does?
no. Wii U does it also, and Wii U's usage app is actually incredible. Not sure why MS or Sony don't do something similar.
Delete it from your system and then reinstall with the disc. should work!
PSN is experiencing high traffic again. That could be why. Someone posted a tweet from Sony in a different thread.
which earphone did you buy?
You do know those are going to be supported in an upcoming firmware right?
Just to make sure I understand correctly- you don't have to manually choose to install games on PS4, right? They just automatically do whenever you insert a game disc the first time?
So lucky PS4 owners, what's the final verdict on the best launch games to get on Day 1 for us Europeans? Need to finalize my pre-order.
Assassins Creed 4 and Killzone are what I am seconds away from getting...
came home to install 1.51 (since i have all my settings on to download updates)...
come out of standby, and surprise, it didn't download! double checked settings and everything is fine to download in standby. whatever, it's only 300mb....estimated download time 3hours?!? good old psn.
edit: nm, resogun launched after pressing update later THREE times. wtf.
I'm actually enjoying knack
looks beautiful as well
My PS4 dropped my Wi-Fi connection and now it's no longer connecting to it, even after I set up the connection in settings. Should I boot it?
We cant do this now? :[ i thought we could!Updated my list. Not in any particular order, as you can tell
- Allow users to transfer captures to and from USB storage
my PS4 bundle from BJs showed up, with an unexpected bonus. That's a lot of killzones.
two Killzone? You can sell one and get another game:-D
Yeah. Shutdown and cold boot. Happened to me the other day. Everything's fine now.
That's my plan! Anyone know the best way to do this?
Updated my list. Not in any particular order, as you can tell
- Release dedicated apps for Twitch, YouTube and Google Drive. Also allow users to upload captures to YouTube and Google Drive with the Share button and Share menu
- Allow users to transfer captures to and from USB storage
- Allow users to format USB storage devices in order to store game installs and game add-ons
- Allow users to save screen shots as JPEG or PNG files
- Allow users to capture video at 1080p and/ or 60 frames per second
- Enable and simplify batch selections by a single press of a button (eg. Selecting friends for party invites, deleting content, uploading captures, ect)
- Create a dedicated icon and/ or folder for local and uploaded captures on the main menu. Also allow users to easily view their friend's uploaded captures via the same dedicated section on the main menu or through their friends profile page.
- Allow users to view uploaded captures (screen shots and videos), via a dedicated section on the PlayStation mobile app. Also allow users to view captures uploaded by friends, as well
- Give users the option to enable push notifications for the PlayStation app on iOS and Android devices.
- Create separate folders and/ or sections for games, demos and other media, on the main menu. Also allow users to organize and sort aforementioned content
- Enable the option for users to view all content and information (games, media, captures, menu options, ect) in either a list or thumbnail format
- Allow users to navigate and interact with the main menu with the controllers touch pad.
- Include all the Screen and Sound options in the initial console setup (eg. Resolution, screen size, RGB, ect)
- Allow users the ability to pause downloads and sort priority. This should also be made possible for uploads as well
- Allow users to open and access notification pop ups (eg. Invitations, messages, downloads, ect) by pressing the PS button.
- Require all developers to include detailed change log information in their games Update History
- Allow users to display their PSN ID on the main menu, instead of their real name.
- Decrease latency for capture notifications. Also, make it easier for users to distinguish when video capture begins and ends.
- Improve video capture by clearly notifying and allowing users the ability to save the previous or next 15 minutes of game play.
- Allow users the ability to record game play continuously (until manually ended by the user) in 15 minute increments. Also allow the option to make the system end recording once the15 minute limit has been reached, thus discontinuing any further recording.
- Require demos for all PSN downloadable titles (Users would essentially download the full game, but only have limited access until it is purchased).
- Enable the PS4 to automatically synch trophies online in the background, as they are unlocked
- Allow users to enable or disable notifications in the Whats New section
- Give users the option to enable notification sound effects through the controllers speakers
- Allow users to change the color of the main menu background. Also allow users to use custom wallpapers.
- Release additional animated background effects and pieces of music for the main menu
- Allow users to dim or disable the controllers light bar
- Allow users to select favorites, tag, pin, flag and/ or add stars to items, for easy and fast access. (eg. Users can choose specific games that are played regularly or friends who they spend more time with) Also, create a dedicated section, on the main menu, for all favorite items and friends
- Allow users to hide or delete place holder and/ or preinstalled content (eg. Play Room, Music Unlimited, Netflix, Hulu, ect)
- Include the controllers battery charge on the top portion of the main menu. Also allow users to display the battery charge as a percentage instead of an icon
- Create and release additional PSN avatars.
- Create a notification that shows when friends are online. Also give users the ability to disable this feature
- Allow users to set themselves as Busy or Away when online. Also allow users to create and save short, custom statuses as well.
- Enable local MP3 playback on the PS4 and allow users to play MP3 files while using applications (eg. Games, PS Store, web browser, ect). Also enable local support and playback for MKV container files. Lastly, enable media access and playback via USB storage, the PS Vita and/ or DLNA (eg. PCs, media servers, ect)
- Enable support to display the main menu and all of its assets in 3D, on 3D TVs
- Make highlighted menu items brighter, solid or given some kind of effect that is easier to distinguish them from the background and non-selected items
- Give users the ability to configure custom Share button functions (eg. Screenshot, video and menu)
- Enable and integrate game invitations through the main menu
- Allow the PS4 to resume a suspended application after it wakes up from Stand By mode.
- Give users the option to allow the PS4 to automatically boot a disc when powered on
Honestly we need to tweet this post to Yoshida
Great list... These two are top priority for me.- Allow users to transfer captures to and from USB storage
- Allow users to format USB storage devices in order to store game installs and game add-ons

Did it 3 times in a row. Still didn't connect.
Make it happen @famousmortimer!Honestly we need to tweet this post to Yoshida
Make it happen @famousmortimer!
The system alerts you when it's low, and you can press the PS button to see the charge.
Also, it glows orange when you charge in standby and stops glowing when it's done.
yeee

Haven't posted in this thread in a while... but just wanted to say (and it's been said to death) but dear god did Sony hit it out of the park!
I really hope Sony gets some more servers online soon. This is a bit annoying.
Yes
I enjoyed it a lot. Haven't tried co-op yet, need to get on that.
