Worry not. So it IS coming, eventually. That's good enough for me. Do you at least know if it's on planning stage or something like that? I mean, the way you speak of it it's clear proper development hasn't started yet. Are they still researching or designing?
Traded in two old 360's earlier this week , one original launch and my sons arcade plus some games and with the cash I was able to get a second PS4 today (which will be a xmas gift for my son Best Buy released non picked up pre-orders and we arrived early to get one . There were 6 available and we were Nr 4.
Never underestimate DetectiveGAF's ability to pull out quotes as soon as something's announced. People will remember
Does anyone else's console sometimes get unstable after playing BF4? Sometimes when I quit and play another game, the sound will be corrupt and even the game will crash at launch unless I reboot the console.
Even stanby doesn't help- last night I was playing BF4, put the system into standby, and then this morning tried to play KIllzone and the game crashed twice trying to launch it and when I finally got in the sound was all distorted.
Rebooting the system entirely makes this go away, but I'm hoping it's BF4 being buggy and not my system...

Yes, it is. I'm sure of that about as much as seeing it with my own eyes. It's in planning/designing stage; has been for a while.

Second, you are in the EU so that wouldn't even have made a differene, you can say you only have one foot in or whatever, but you are in it, there's lots of European countries that are less than happy about EU, UK is nothing special in that regard, there's fucking riots in some countries demanding to get out of EU.

It's dissapointing that blurays lost their custom icon when you put them in the system, not to mention that they don't autostart anymore. I really wish they'd consider bringing those back...

He previously stated that talks of exclusivity are basically out of the question or something, and that a game that big would be almost impossible to secure as an exclusive.
So I guess the remake is being planned as a multiplatform game from the beginning.
All good. As long as it is for the current gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One) I'm satisfied =)

Phew. Thought my PS4 order had disappeared on Amazon, but it was a false alarm. Just realised I preordered it exactly six months ago yesterday, so it no longer shows up on the standard view. My stomach was churning!

Is that because Sony published FF7 in certain countries? I played it when I was young, but I do remember seeing a Sony symbol on the case.
Hopefully this also means Japanese devs step up to the plate again with innovative titles.

That final fantasy remake is realy hard to believe, even if you say they are in just the biggining , i just dont believe. I want to believe cause ff 7 is my favourite game of all time. And if this is true will not hapen , Square will be the next THQ i am sure :S

Perhaps that's the reason Verendus said an announcement won't come anytime soon. I think they will finish XV first, and then that team will move to develop the FFVII remake (I believe XV is being developed by the main Square team? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't leave such remake in the hands of some second team...).
Any rumblings of SCE acquisitions coming soon?

I have a couple of nitpicks with the PS4 share button in regards to screenshots I think it's a little too difficult to press for that purpose, maybe that's the size of my fingers. I don't think it's a responsive as it could be when you just want a quick screenshot of something. And I don't like that when you press it in the menus to access upload or viewing features, it takes a screenshot of the menu.

i think it's perfect where it is. i think the only thing that is delayed sometimes is the icon. but it seems to have taken the time you press it. its better than holding down share to take screensots. such hassle.
i think they are hiding cameras as well. the day i went for midnight there was a shelf load. i doubt the whole playroom sparked it.
A quality Black Friday is a way to give your stock a bounce. If I were running a corporation I'd hold back all my consoles until Black Friday too. Considering how cheap some items have to be sold selling a bunch of product at 400 to 500 dollars a pop greatly boosts the bottom line.

360 was always hitting its stride, in my opinion. 2007 was a barren wasteland for PS3, whereas the 360 had a good 2006 and 2007.

Wait, why is there rumors of FFVII remake again? If it ever comes out, i would expect it on ALL platforms anyway, no?
I'm dabbling in most of my games but I did finish Knack and enjoyed it for the most part. As for the others:
AC4- Only about 5 hours in but it's terrible and I'm struggling to make myself keep going. It's a typical AC game where everything in it is pointless because there is no real progression with simplistic 1 button combat and the ship stuff has been just as easy so far. I only died once and that was the mission they give you a ship because you start off surrounded by giant ships with like 100 cannons on each side and as I was trying to figure out where to go I got destroyed.
BF4 (single player only so far)- Pretty standard military shooter stuff but the graphics are incredible.
NBA 2k- Fun game with a lot of deep control options but there is a serious flaw with defense where your people will all of a sudden move like arthritic 57 year old men and the CPU will jog right around you before your guys can move in time. Might be fixable with sliders but I don't usually like tinkering like that. IMO a well designed game is well designed from the start, not with mods or slider adjustments.
Lego Marvel- Only did a few story missions but it looks great (for what it is) and has much more production quality than the other lego games I've played. If you like lego games this is the best.

Maybe, I guess the PS2 having a monster 2006 didn't help with FFXII, Okami, Canis Canem Edit, tales of abyss etc all coming out.
like i said it wasn't until Gears when i really took note of my 360 and really "switched" to that gen.

The only 4 prominent directors I can think off who released two games the last generation and could be making a PS4 exclusive. Miyazaki and Demon Souls spiritual successor sounds the most likely based on the other rumours we had
I never really got hyped for either of the consoles since I knew I would be in basic/tech school when they released. With Christmas coming up though I'm going to try and find a PS4 for my brother to bring back with me. I'm hoping I can get one on Black Friday since some stores will be opening thanksgiving evening otherwise i wouldn't be able to go at midnight. If I cant buy one then I guess I'll keep checking in at the GameStop on base here. Can't really check the big name stores off base unless it's on the weekends. Has a store's stock been pretty hit or miss?
