if you want a cheap headset the vita one is good. not only is it sexy bit the thing offers different ear pieces just for your odd shaped ear hole.

On the subject, for me Its either PS4 or PS3 since I never owned one and missed out on so many great games. decisions decisions...

My download speeds are now trash across the board in relation to psn. Launch and the two days following were awesome, 70gb downloaded overnight. Since 1.51. They are basically 56k.

Ridiculous.

PC, iPad, iPhone, Xbox one, no problems at all. 12Mpbs down basically fully realized on all of those devices. People have said it's AT&T and uverse that are sometimes the problem for PSN, but I can't help but saddle the blame mostly on sony, as the speed is fine on literally everything else. Between updates and wanting to play online with a console I intended to stay digitally distributed content with, my ps4 is almost worthless at this point.

Sorry if this has been answered already. But I have both the PS4 Camera and I use my headset( to hear game audio and not wake up the GF). Is there any way to mute my mic? On either case, it seems I am always transmitting audio and I can't find the option to mute my mic.

Also, I got my PS4 4 days ago and I am loving it. With the exception of not reading media files, everything else has met or exceeded my expectations.

As far as I know, you cannot mute the camera mic. I wish you could though :(

I think that depends on the mic? I'm not sure about in menu options but I know the designed for ps4 mics have a mute switch on the cable connecting to the controller.

EDIT: Sorry misunderstood the question, I dont have a camera so I cant say for certain.

ACIV is something you can sink your teeth into, and has a worthwhile story. I'm not a fan of the AC series - honestly, don't really like any of them. But 4 is pretty fun so far, has a likable protagonist, and looks great.

The Camera has a built in mic which cannot be turned off as of yet (might be fixed in a future patch). Aside from unplugging the Camera, you can create a party chat and set it to invite only. You'll be the only one in the chart party and no one can hear you. If you're using the bundled headset, it has a mute switch built in.

I'm still here! Yes, I'm still having the same problem! My Internet connection has also been temporarily cutting out this week. I wonder if that could be related to it and truly be an issue on AT&T's end.

Things you download are added to your Library. You can go there to download things you have purchased. Just scroll to the end of the front page UI and you'll see the Library section.

It doesn't look like currently there is a way to see your entire download list but PS4-compatible games you have access to after getting them through the store (or the web store) are listed inside the Library, which can be found on the end of the main bar.

You can re-download them from there too.

I've seen various tweets about it upon searching queries such as "att slow", "u-verse slow", or "ps4 slow". My download speed miraculously went back to ~1.5MB/s for a short time yesterday, just long enough to download the FIFA 14 demo.

Let me know what you get out of the call tomorrow, I'd seriously appreciate it.

Thanks! What happens if I am not using the bundled headset? The quality of that headset sucks and I prefer to use the headset from my phone. How do I mute other headsets?

The only hesitation I have is that I haven't played Brotherhood, Revelations, or ACIII.

Lego Marvel- Only did a few story missions but it looks great (for what it is) and has much more production quality than the other lego games I've played. If you like lego games this is the best.

If other headsets have a dedicated mute button or on/off switch, then those should work. If not, unless there isn't an option in the menus, you can't mute, as far as I know.

Yeah, I'm getting pissed off. I spent the whole day trying to download the 607MB update for BF4. Now, my internet speed isn't the greatest but it's taking more than 10 hours to download the update. Then there is the fact the download stops after a while. I checked if it was my connection. Nope. Took me an hour to download a 1.2GB file on my laptop via wifi. Reinstalling Infinity Blade on iPad took me 35 minutes. This isn't the first time it has happened. One of the Killzone updates was taking its sweet time (7 hours) downloading. I believe it was roughly over 200MB for that one. I checked online if it was just me but it's been happening to others as well. I can't play multi till the update is installed. After 7 hours, it's a third of the way done. So, anyone with a PS4 experiencing this problem?

Edit: I should read the thread before posting. Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. And like the two posters several posts up, I have AT&T. It's just the PS4. My PS3 and 360 all downloaded the updates for some games I just borrowed pretty fast. What I noticed is that the updates are taking far longer than anything else to download.

I've had the same problem. It's only with patches though.
Downloaded Resogun and Cotrast pretty fast.

Ok I'm pretty sure the headset that came with my PS4 is either broken or a piece of shit, anyone know a good, cheap headset that'll work with the Dualshock?
