Have people here tried Music Unlimited? I just thought I'll give it a shot, and it's really good! $5 a month for unlimited songs and skipping (for radio)? Damn you, Sony! You have my money!
The UI is still a bit laggy, but not too bad. Hope they can improve it to match the usually snappy PS4 experience.

Actually, they had it in Japan and the reason XIII went multiplat everywhere else was because MS ponied up several million dollars for it to do so back when they actually cared about Japan.
At this point, XV probably still should have been exclusive too but SE's new CEO didn't see it that way. Sony might regret not pushing for it if rumors about MS resorting to moneyhatting panic mode come true.

Hey guys, I had one other question about PSN+ I'm struggling to find the answer to. Since multiplayer is now part of the membership, does that mean I need to buy two subscriptions (like Xbox) if my girlfriend and I were to try to play multiplayer together or can I just get one for the primary console and she can play online with me at the same time as well? If this is the case, can she play online if I'm not logged in?
EDIT: Never mind, answered my own question.
God, I'm loving this... I think I'll sell my Xbox One... Kinda underwhelmed with it and Sony is just making the right moves in my book.

I use Music Unlimited a lot. I love it and use it to listen to music in every game I've played so far. However...
...it is one of the most unstable apps I have ever used. It crashes on me constantly. It crashes when I back out of a game and try to go into the app while music is playing. It crashes if I try to reload the app after it crashes. It'll stop playing music sometimes at points in a game where the original game music would have stopped. If it crashes I have to restart my PS4 just get it to work. Annoying.
Ah I see. Haven't tried it with a game yet. Hope they resolve these issues. It seems like great value for money. Would be a shame if it fails because of stability.

The fact that I keep slamming my head against the app just to use it says a lot though. Other than the stability of the app, I wouldn't change anything about it. I think it is seriously awesome.
I used custom soundtracks a lot with the Xbox 360, and as a Zune Pass (Xbox Music Pass) user at that time I really wished I could have used that and streamed my playlists and such. Music Unlimited does that and I even cancelled my Google Music All Access subscription because I like it so much. I just hope they fix the problems, but I'm sure they will.

I have the solo Killzone bundle ordered, any idea how much that's gonna be?
It should be the same as PS3 therefore no, it won't work with different regions. Buy DLC from the same region as your game.

Perhaps someone can help me out a bit. I'm having some problems with the "last 15 minutes recorded" feature. Something hilarious happened in AC4. I punched a guard and he flew about 100 feet in the air. When I hit the upload video button, it wasn't the last 15 minutes I had played. It was way before that. Anyone have any idea as to why this happens? It's done it twice in two separate parts of the game.
Less than an hour. It felt really quick.
I've heard this happening when you have too many videos saved. I haven't reproduced the issue yet. Do you have a lot of saved videos?
I have one clip saved and it's less than 30 seconds.

Ha! I have no idea. I've tried saving 10-20 different clips and they all recorded exactly 15 minutes, ending around the point I pressed the button.
One thing I did notice was a strange delay in taking snapshots when the game was installing in the background. Not sure if it's related. If your game wasn't installing either, then I'm stumped!

Don't want to jinx it, but going at about 1MB/s right now! Connection maxes out at 2.25, but I'm not complaining.

To be honest, I don't think the PS3 really had that many more features when it released.

It took 6 months for DLNA support. And 12 months for themes.
But I do agree the PS4 firmware seems limited as of now, since we are used to the PS3 features. But it will come. I'm happy they focused more on gaming than on eyecandy stuff up until now

The PS3 could barely do anything at launch. There was like a firmware update every week and it was still months before it could do anything useful apart from play Blu-rays.
You could import photos and videos, but that might have had something to do with the million different memory card slots they included for reasons nobody ever really understood.
Even then, you couldn't set wallpapers iirc, no themes, no folders, no playlists, no upscaling (was there?), no games (oh, except PS2 games, God of War 2 was probably the best PS3 game for a while, either until they took out bc or warhawk released, whichever came first). Lots of firmware updates though.
And look at that sexy beast now, obsolete. Good times, wonder when my PS4 will arrive.

PS3 had god-awful upscaling for PS1/PS2 games in the early days. Jaggies everywhere.

Do game invites pop up on screen during games like ps3/xbox360? Only played some Resogun, Ghosts, and 2k14. Not much since I've been busy, so no parties yet. Was playing Resogun earlier and after the match ended I see that there was a co-op game request from ShogunPore. Did I miss the popup, or was it not there? He had obviously moved on 10 min later when I finally saw it.

There are notifications for them, you MIGHT have them disabled. I do know that only Party invites can be instantly brought up by pressing the PS button.

Just went to PlayStation Store, found there was a demo for Trine 2: Complete Story.
Being that I have never played a Trine game before on any platform, this is just, whoa. ..What a magical experience this is.
Kinda reminds me of the splendor of playing Magician Lord for Neo Geo for the first time way back in 1990-91.
I guess Trine 2 makes up for Magician Lord 2 never seeing the light of day, a game that was rumored to be in the works for Neo Geo CD almost 2 decades ago.

Had my PS4 down here in Australia for just over a week now (Amazon), unfortunately I did not plan it very well and my games are still on their way over here, haha.

20 is a little much for a game I already own on 2 platforms though.
I'm on day 5 of my L1 and R1 buttons stickying when I press them, how the hell is this possible? I haven't spilled anything on them (or had any type of food near them). It's becoming a chore using them because I have to jam them hard so they pop up. How can I counter this?

what's the word on the video upload bug? we had a thread about this last week but I haven't heard much in the last few days.
Can't you get it swapped? My R1 was starting to stick, Target swapped it for a new one. Although my new one is starting to stick now too..lol. :/

Should I let my DS4 run out of juice every once in a while like some people do for phones? Do I not worry about it and just charge it when I want to? Bleh, rechargeables get me a little confused sometimes.
