I don't quite get what happened here. Did you delete the profile that bought the game? If so, why? Or did the system somehow do it automatically? In any case, yeah, obviously the game will no longer be playable if the profile/account that bought it is no longer on the console.

the loss of save files and trophies, it didnt say anything about being locked out of digital content or that the licenses for the content were tied to a user profile and not a PSN account.

Licenses should definitely be tied to your PSN account, but specific downloads are likely tied to profiles. So if I'm understanding this correctly you made a profile, bought a game, deleted that profile for whatever reason, made a new one with the same account, and now you can't play the game? You probably need to re-download the game, since it's currently associated with a profile that no longer exists on your console. Even though your new profile is made with the same PSN account, the already existing download doesn't automatically get associated with it.

From what I've seen on the PS4 boxes here in Sweden it's just 14 days.

Yeah, thought so. Better than nothing, but we're really getting a rough deal here. Significantly more expensive console than in NA (nothing new there, of course), and less free goodies in the box.
I want to know as well as I am considering picking one up.
This. It's designed this way because more than one profile may have bought a game on a system. I forget the details but there was an explanation a long while back due to the PS3 and now presumably the PS4 allowing some DLC on games only on the account/profile that bought it.

Quick PS4 question I don't know where to ask:
I have Killzone installed on my PS4 from disk (from the launch bundle) but want to give that disk to a friend and buy a digital download for myself. If I download the game will I have two installs on disk? Will it overwrite my save game?
Is there a simple way to do this without running into any issues?
TL;DR: I want to transition from a disk install to a digital download while keeping my save games. Is this do-able?

Well, we are pretty used to getting the short end of the stick. But it really is a damn shame, they could have offered us 30 days at least. Especially when we don't get all the other stuff. -.-
But right now I just want my console! Gah, the wait is killing me... Just have to survive until midnight tomorrow.
I'm not 100% what would happen to your disc install when you download the digital version, I don't think it replaces it or anything so you would probably want to delete the disc install to save space.
rest assured though that your saves will be safe when you delete the disc version, you can confirm this buy going into settings, data management (whatever its called) and you can see applications and saved games as separate folders.
I would imagine that your saves should work fine with the digital version

I can confirm I have a EU model since monday and its 14 days which you claim with PSN store

Not 100% sure, I don't think they will though. I think game saves are usually identified by the game code. For example a US and EU version of a game may be BLES-01 and BLUS01. Therefore you can't use a US save on an EU game (unless you resign it).
I think digital games have different disc codes again, just can't remember what they are. Resigns may work.....

This was game dependent on PS3. Some games shared codes across regions, others did not.

Send me the codes and I'll officially confirm the figure.
So I downloaded Killzone of the Store, it downloaded the initial 7 gigs and I played it through the Forest level. So now I need to keep the game running to download the rest of the game? If thats the case, then they really need the option to let it keep downloading while the system is in standby.

Im trying to make sure i dont shoot my self in the foot with the PSN accounts. I setup a Master(buying and policy master for the sub account) back in 2007. the Sub account was for playing games only and the in box codes the online pass/etc. I brought the ps3 console in work for the children to play, the master account had everything locked up (no $200 dollar rockband spree), and they my sub account to play (Least privilege need).
It used to be you could use subscriptions on sub accounts (I had a PSN plus sub(2010) and DCUO sub 2011). You cant do that anymore on Sub accounts, and sharing/streaming video/photos is restrict on Sub accounts on ps4.
Right now im still using my sub account as a play account and the master the buying as it has the PSN plus 30 day card on it right.
There seems be nothing I can do about this fixing/merging the accounts. Any ideas on what to do or should I ride it out until they allow accounts to merge/ changed into a master.

Ladies and Gents. I just made a discovery that I have to say caught me off gaurd(and no one has mentioned it from what I have seen)and is nifty. If you are typing a message and hit options with the text input box open, there are Copy/Paste/Select options!

Well thanks to fuckass retailers holding stock AND opening on Thanksgiving, tomorrow I fear I am going to have to hit up some stores to see if they have any PS4's for release. WalMart has them in their ad for their Thanksgiving sale and they open at 6pm...but goddamn I really don't want to go to WalMart. Kmart opens early tomorrow but nothing about PS4s in the ad.
