It's not that I don't like the AC series, I think it's ok. It's more a franchise fatigue I believe even though I actually only played 1 and 2 and still have Brotherhood unopened for the 360.
As someone who loathes and easily tires of sequels, I can confidentally say that AC4 is easily and unfortunately the best game on the system at the moment. Get AC4 if single play is important. Get KZ is MP is important to you now.

So tried downloading the update last night. Downloaded then the whole thing went tit's up, restarted but no signal or anything.
Gave up after 30 minutes and pulled the power, turned it back on and PS4 Safe Mode appeared? Great start.
Reinitialised the PS4. Started download again. Can't do anything online in the mean time.
But hey at least I could play a bit of killzone shadowfall without the update (up yours microsoft). That night, left the PS4 in standby with everything enabled.
This morning it's still not updated or downloaded the patch. Start downloading it again, 4 hours ... it tells me.
So I fire up my laptop ... takes, I shit you not, about 5 seconds to download the 322,853,376 bytes ...
5 seconds. My PS4 is still at like ... 3%.
So yeah if anyone else is having trouble download the patch, go to their website and try manually.

Happy that I decided to upgrade the HDD to 1 Tb now. Have 8 installed (though only 2 big retail games) and even though it's still in the 700gb range it just give me the freedom to fill it up without care.

Does anyone's PS4 actually download updates/patches while in standby? I have mine set in Power Saving Settings to connect to the internet but when I start it up, it informs me right away there's a patch and only starts downloading it then.
If it's any help, my daughter says Lego Marvel us her favourite game on the 360. She has Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Lego LOTR, and she's totally loving the Marvel game. Also on Netflix (US at least) there's a 30 min Lego Marvel show that's pretty well done.
Caught this in The Playroom. Nice to see they remember what made the PlayStation name what it is today. Dat nostalgia.

I got my ps4 on launch yesterday and I've had an issue with it and was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. Basically if my tv is on and set to the proper HDMI port the ps4 is using it will not detect the console and come up with a 'no signal' message on screen. Funny thing is that if I turn the ps4 on then turn my tv on after it has started up it comes on no problem.
I have tried different HDMI cables and 5 different tv's and this happens on all but one. The funny thing is that the one that works properly is one of the cheap crap brand bedroom sets. This isnt a single brand of tv either as I've tried the ps4 on £1000+ LG, Toshiba and Samsung sets and I have the same problem on each.
There are no settings on the console I can change to help remedy this issue unless I'm missing something and was wondering if this is a European issue (uk for me) as I've not heard anyone else mention this. I did see on some random forum someone else was having this problem and he claimed his ps3 did the same thing for a while until Sony patched it. Am I alone in this or is anyone else having this problem.

This can sometimes be the TV itsel but then again you've tried other sets... hmm.. Mine is the reverse to yours and does this with my PS3, 360, laptop etc.
So far played some Knack, NBA 2K and Lego Marvel. Knack is weak. It's not horrible but definitely aimed at a very young, new to games audience. Got to chapter 5 and called it quits. Far too repetitive in a negative way for me. Will let my younger family play it though as a "learning tool" for games.
Marvel is pretty good. Some good jokes littered about. Gonna be great in Multiplayer for sure.
NBA... lool great but I am clueless on how to play. Kept playing FIFFA haha. Practice mode it is then

Just got my Euro PS4 with KZ, after 20 tries or so i managed to login with my psn account.

+DS4 is now at the xbox level, even thou the triggers could be a little better
+Pretty silent even after hours of gameplay
- those leds... those leds everywhere.. they are so anoying in a dark room, luckly i´ve got tons of tape..

That is a gorgeous setup, the furniture looks very classy.. but I would never be confident enough to put my console so tightly close to other things
I tend to put them in open places for fear of ventilation related issues.

Just want to let you guys know something about adding funds.
Yesterday I kept getting told that my credit card details were wrong, obviously I entered them again and kept trying the transaction. Then I tried adding funds through my PC and then through Paypal, all to get an error message.
I then get a call from my bank saying that all these payments actually went through! Luckily they blocked every single one because of "unnatural spending", must have tried to add £20 like 10 times last night.
So yeah, anyone who is added funds and got an error message, check your bank statement to see if you have been charged.

The PS4 is such a delight from the off. I know there are some niggles with PSN and some key features missing but on the whole it's a pleasure to use. I'll do a little bit more of a write up at some point with my impressions but I really do love everything about it. Sony just nailed it this time round.

Go in setup video if you skipped it. I got a ps63c7000 and ps4 self detected even screen inch size.

Got my PS4 yesterday and its awesome. nothing to complain about although i think the UI definitely needs a few tweaks here and there.
I've got a question. I have a Turtle Beach X41 headset that was designed for the Xbox 360. It has a 2.5mm jack with 2 of those small black things around the jack.
If I buy the adapter below will it work with the headset and will I be able to chat with it? I thought the adapter below could work because it also has 2 small black things around the jack.
