So went into GAME again, they had the PS4 and Xbox One on, unlike last time.. So the Xbox one was unplayable because they dont have internet connection you couldn't do anything on it.. The PS4 only had this camera game with the little robots.
I got to use the DS4 for the first time... holy shit thats a nice controller. Being an exclusive xbox only gamer since 2003/4 I love the xbox and 360 controller but the DS4 is probably the most comfortable one i've held. The Xbox ones is nice too but its kinda the same
I will most probably buy a DS4 when it drops in price to play with on the PS3

Hey, i created a video of a PS4 SKU that would be made for people that wanna go all digital. I modeled the console and even the controller lol. I think it could sell if Sony has a firmware update that includes MP3,DLNA support and a way to share digital games. With a bigger harddrive and a smaller , lighter and slightly cheap package ( around 349$ ) i think this thing could sell well in the future, maybe in a couple of years.

I can't make a thread but i would love to know what people would think of this. If a mod thinks it's cool enough to be thread worthy please do so. I think videogames are slowly heading this way if the firmware is build around it... And i think it's a very possible SKU Sony and Microsoft might be considering.

The code in the box doesn't work. Instead you just select 'buy' in the in game menu and get directed to a free download of the pass on the store.

Looks like Sonys been ramping up the TV ads in the UK again. 3 during one as break on XFactor. Though one if them was Driveclub which seems a little premature. Wonder if they've restocked the console in any decent quantities yet.

In the past few days, I've also seen a lot of PS4 ads in the Netherlands (and before that, basically none).
It's the Uplay passport. It's free for everyone and gives some bonus content. It USED to be the online pass but Ubisoft dropped that stuff going nextgen. AC 4 was however already manufactured at that point which is why the code is still there but it's not required.
Season passes are different, they're basically DLC bundles for a discount.

It's a risky venture imo and the price drop won't be that great from removing the blu ray drive, maybe 50 USD?
Probably half that $50 since the hard drive got an upgrade too.
Sony aren't ready to drop blu ray yet. If it ever happens, it'll be at least 5 years down the line.

Try updating with a usb stick. It's an error code for a corrupted file.
Edit: And make sure you use the correct one for your region.
AC4 on PS4 is stunning. And I have to say that I'm surprised to know that Edward is a much better and interesting man than his lousy grandson, Connor.
You know after reading the post that makes allot of sense why I can't see allot of user's video's in the what's new section it'll show the play icon but it'll just won't load a thing same with SS it'll have a logo but no image. I thought it perhaps require the said game asset's to be on your drive but permission's from said user's could be the reasoning behind this. If you do find out any more please do let me know thanks

Just change "large" to "orig" sans quotation marks at the end of the link.

I don't think my PS3 has ever properly recognised NZDST, and not really noticed if PS4 does, but will check later on as it might still be an issue.
Basically on everyone else system your name will not be displayed unless you have agree to show your real name to another friend using the Real Name Request. On your console it will show your real name to you so if people where within your home and watching you play your name and then PSN tag underneath it will be displayed. I'm sure as time goes there will be an option to disable displaying your real name locally.

None of the games I DL will load. They all get stuck on the loading screen in a never-ending loop. First Resogun, now BF4. They just load and load.

Have both and love KZ:SF, especially the multiplayer.
AC4 is another AC game. Not sure what that means to you.
I've sunk the most hours into KZ, and despite the backlash against the SP, I find it to be the best in the series if you learn to play it correctly.

Try to go into system recovery and do the file system restore option. Sounds like it might be a hard drive issue.

To play games you need a patch before the 1.5 patch -EDIT: FOR KZ NOT SURE IF IT WAS BECAUSE OF A PATCH OR SOMETHING
I remember I had to do it.... go to setting and find the firmware listings
Also get the latest patch through a USB stick.... since server traffic could damage your download

As someone who thinks the only good AC was Brotherhood, AC4 finally feels like a fun game again. The sailing is top notch.
Killzone feels like an abortion to me. Probably my biggest regret in game purchasing for years.
If it's a game with copyrighted music, you did nothing wrong. They just upload in silence.

But the multiplayer is awesome! Play with GAFfers for maximum fun.
Stated Assassin's Creed IV earlier. Really, really enjoying it. Just lost like 3-4 hours playing it without even realising. Oh dear. On a side note, the 1080p resolution continually delivers a visual treat in terms of raw detail. Coupled with my VT65's general picture quality, and it's absolutely gorgeous even if the graphics aren't on par with say Shadow Fall in terms of lighting and post processing.
Going to sound silly, but AC more than Shadow Fall, took me a while to adjust because there's so much detail (mainly because of macro detail of the tree's and foliage, coupled with some super sharp textures) on screen it's crazy. If you have any sharpness on your TV what-so-ever, turn it all the way down or completely off. Literally, the tiniest bit of sharpness messes up the image and makes for noisy detailing.

Someone mentioned that the automatically recorded gameplay footage of the share function was old. I didn't follow the issue and I'm not sure if it got resolved/explained but I ran into the same thing on Saturday.
A friend and I played NFS and since the game does not pause he just handed me the controller when he was done with his turn and the car ran into a wall and stopped.
The camera was angled to the side and suddenly a cop appeared in the distance and
T-boned the living shit out of my Aston Martin. Since we were in the middle of exchanging the controller, there was absolutely nothing we could do to avoid the crash. It was hilarious!
Does anyone know what went wrong with the recording?
I also noticed that I had about 30 GB of ACIV video footage on my HDD. Does it automatically save gameplay recordings when you hit the Share button? I just wanted to save the screenshot. Is there a way to disable the auto saving of the video footage?

KZ is horrendous, apart from its visuals.
AC4 is fantastic, back to AC2 levels of greatness. If you like that and hated AC3 you'll like this one again. None of the shitty UI or gameplay design from AC3 is in this one. Whatever traces are left have been properly refined this time around.
I can't hear the console at all on any game over the TV. Knack is also doing quite a lot on a technical level even if it's not the prettiest launch game.

Yeah i definitely dont think it would sell as well as the basic SKU but for some people out there i'm sure they would prefer the bigger hard drive version. It would be just another option. It would also be a more direct competition to the Steamboxes..
