Amazon just sent me £10 of Call of Duty Ghosts for pre ordering PS4. If anyone wants quote this and I will PM. That works out to £38 at current price.
I'll take it. But would it work for ordering it on amazon.com (usa)
No.
Are you in Europe and wanted to buy digital from amazon.com? This code is for .co.uk only
Guess you don't want it anymore?
Location might help dude
I'm from the UK , i can sort out a decent price if anyone wants a PS4 before Christmas next week just PM me.
What was it that you hated about Most Wanted? I'd say it has a similar set up but it has a different feel.
It's not entirely race focused. You can get by with just fighting with cops, challenging other players, and playing around in the world. The pursuits actually mean something because you rack up SP and the more heat you get the more you earn but you have to be careful because if you get busted then you lose it all. So it becomes a risk vs reward thing and it can get pretty tense when you have a lot and don't want to lose it. You can bank it while in a pursuit so it's not overly hard. I haven't played the cop career yet though.
You might want to wait it out if you're not sure. It's my go to game right now but I actually liked most wanted. The visuals are really nice too, if you don't mind 30fps
Usually I hate the controller-speaker on the Wii/Wii-U but for some reason on the PS4 it actually adds some immersion....well at least Resogun does.
Thanks for the info. What I didn't like about Most Wanted was, basically, the structure of the game. I prefer event oriented racing games like Hot Pursuit. I put up with Burnout Paradise because I loved the gameplay. Some of my favorite racing games are the Burnout series and the early Need for Speed (also loved the new Hot Pursuit) games but the open world ones have been making me lose interest quite fast.
I know it's a good game and a lot of people like it. I just think it might not be for me based on my personal preferences. I just wanted to see if what I thought was true about the game. One of the main reasons I didn't like some of the open world games was because in order to restart an event you have to drive all the way back to the starting point and because maps were so huge you had to sometimes spend three to five minutes just to drive to a place to initiate a race. To me, that's just excessive and time consuming padding.
I just took my ps4 out of standby to play Killzone and lo and behold it then starts to download a 6gb DCUO patch and a 613mb Battlefield 4 patch.
WHY IS THIS NOT DOWNLOADING IN STANDBY??
Seriously. What's the point in standby on this damned machine.
Edit: and yes, my settings are correct.

They're supposed to upload whenever you log out of your profile.
PS3 Slim killed that tradition.

Those patches were probably just released this morning. That's why.
Some of the F2P games are little funny with downloads/installs. But regular games install themselves after download.Do games not install automatically or is there a setting I need to change?
Downloaded Blacklight last night, did some other stuff and when I came back it had been downloaded but I needed to install it
...course it was only a minute or so until it let me play but I find it out not to just be done automatically
Was so pumped for the console at launch. It's been more than a week since I last played on it.. Horrible launch games imo.
Yeh would love a port of tlou for that feature aloneThe audio logs in KZ:SF, and the wind breeze in Flower add to the experience as well.

Apparently Dynasty Warriors 8 (Asia release I believe) is interactive via streaming, took a screen:
The only PS4 title so far that is as far as I know, or are there others?
Hooked up the PS4 and played some Resogun. Game is awesome! My cat is annoyed.
Does anyone know what it says?

BTW anyone having this issue? When I go to account management, it sits at 'Please wait' for like 3 minutes before I get to edit my details.
Dang man take off that protector by the dpad! It's the best feeling ever pulling those off.
You know how, with the current UI, when you press the home button from a game to get back to the system UI, it just shows the icon for the game? Like this:
I was thinking it would be better/cool if, when you hit the home button, it shows the live feed for the game where the icon used to be, so you kind of know where you are in the game (like a pre-game lobby in a multiplayer game) without having to get back into it. The PS4 reserved a lot of RAM for the OS, so it shouldn't be an issue I would think. Here's a horrible mockup I made. Imagine that the game is still running in the little window:
What do you guys think?
