Anyone's trophies/game updates not publishing to Facebook right now? It's not a biggie but I'd just like to know if it's screwy at the moment.

Was showing my daughter how to play AC-Black Flag yesterday (she's 3 1/2) and after running around and giggling at jumping over rooftops and finally getting used to the idea that R2 + forward makes you run and climb and jump and that there isn't a "jump" button she really started getting into it. Well after a while she manages to piss off some roof guards and drop down to the floor where she is quickly surrounded and attacked. I'm just watching for a minute while she gets frustrated trying to get away and when i realize
"fuck ...she's gonna die..." i tell her to just start mashing square. Sure enough she kills three people and books it! I give her props and she's laughing and the guards are chasing her and now the Lt. guys show up that you have to counter. I watch this fight turn sour just like the first and figuring that it probably will go right over her head and i'm about to get the sticks back i say "Baby you gotta hit the Circle button when you see those red dots over the bad guy's heads and then press square again ok?" ...

10 seconds later there are 11 dead bodies strewn about the street. I am cheering and clapping. My baby is laughing her ass off.
"I like this game daddy!! Can we drive the ship now??!!"

You're fucking a right we can, love.

I can't seem to even get my PS4 to stay in standby. It keeps shutting itself off after being in standby for a little bit of time.

Sony has been so pro at capitalizing on their competitors failures this go around, I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop and them to revert to old ways lol
 
Does anyone know what the CPU clock speed actually is? I see lots of numbers thrown about but I'm wondering if we got confirmation. PCPER was claiming a 2.75GHz boost speed when no graphics are being used...but I am suspicious.
 
Does anybody know the attach rate for the PS4 cameras? It seems like all the people I know personally that have bought a PS4 bought a camera also. I wonder if the attach rate is high enough will developers support it?

God damn, I heard Resogun was good but never really 'felt' it. Then I got to play it. Holy crap, that thing is amazing. If you own a PS4 but don't own Resogun, GET IT. And remember, it's free with Plus.
 
So is there any way to just lower chat voices? My friends keep telling me they hear themselves echo through both the Vita headset and the awful shit thing Sony gave us free

BT remotes are not yet supported on the PS4, so you cannot use the PS3 remote. You can however use HDMI-CEC and the TV remote. Depending on your TV, the HDMI-CEC might be named differently (eg. Bravia Sync for Sony, etc). Polygon finally figured out they have been talking out their arse and made an article about this, see http://www.polygon.com/2013/11/21/5126628/ps4-remote-control-hdmi-cec-tv-sony-samsung-panasonic

Doesn't sound right, I have mine set to standby through the night without issues, make sure you have the standby options checked in the settings.

Honest to god i thought about this about an hour later when I was playing and she was taking her nap and I damn near recreated the event myself to fake it but then i realized... i'll have (hopefully) a MILLION other chances to do this.

She's so hyped for a PS4 Little big Planet game it's not even funny. My facebook wall will bleed with her creations...

You can still go back and grab that video if you can find it.
 
So fuck, I got this tropy sync NP-32157-8 error after playing Sound Shapes and after a Google search it seems it's some bug where in order to sync your trophies again you have to fucking delete your profile and start over. This deletes your saves and you don't get any trophies that didn't sync.

What the fuck Sony. Bad show...
 
I wish we could "follow" people over PSN sorta like twitter.

I doubt people like Shuhei Yosida will accept a random friend invite from me,
while others like Greg Miller have already filled their 2000 limit.
But I'd still like to see what they're doing, seeing when they're streaming a game, look at their trophies etc.
Can one-way interactions work?

How far back does the capture hold onto video? If it still has tuesdays stuff on it not only am I impressed but fuckin a I'll post the hell out of it.

I'm curious how many whale hunting videos have been posted to facebook in the past few days :)

I don't know if I should ask here or not, but I have a samsung smart tv with automotion plus and makes my ps4 games run really smooth. Is it a bad thing or not, I remember reading on here that people should have it off.

Well anytime you just press the share button it saves up to the last 15 min and starts a new recording. So anytime she playing and you want to save it just hit share and it will save that part and she can keep playing. Then later you can edit and upload.
