Game (Cardiff) had it sorted for the Xbox one launch, everyone in the queue was asked if they had fuly paid and if they hadn't they were taken into the shop where they paid up fully and were given a raffle ticket number which corresponded to your bag which had already been bagged up with your order. It was just a case of waiting to get to the front of the queue and picking up your bag after 12. I got there at 9.30 to pay up, there were around 30 people in the queue at that point, but I buggered off to the pub, got back in line at around 11.30(my guess I was around 70 people in front of me). I was out of Game with my X1 at bang on 12.30am so only 30 minutes.
Shit, I'm thinking of keeping mine boxed until Christmas. I bought a Vita and opened it day of release, and the whole new console experience evaporated with me. I feel like leaving the PS4, to unwrap with my younger brother whilst I'm home for Christmas, might just be the better bet.

Yeah, our PS4 supply seems to be woeful. Plenty of Xbones still though.
Amazon UK must have had some cancelled orders. The Killzone bundle and Gamer pack are available for preorder again, obviously not for launch though!

Man, I was so trying to reply to this thread on my phone last night.
PS4 now "preparing for dispatch" as of about 11pm last night.
Something came up that has allotted me some extra funds, but I don't want to go crazy to close to Christmas so I just bought AC 4. I bought the Black Skulls edition as it was only £5 more on Amazon.
Also, my phone dinged on my way to work just then and it freaked me out (I thought I got my days mixed up):

Never say never, I had City Link tell me they'd lost a parcel once when it didn't show up by 6pm on the day, and some bloke in a City Link van delivered it at 10pm

I'm number 2 at my local GAME, they said they would open the doors at 11:30 get everyone in then start calling numbers out. Personally I'm going to be get there for 11:00pm at the latest.

Finally found a bigger store a few kilometers away offering about 20 consoles tomorrow. They didn't take any preorders because they opened in the end of October.
