PS4 official European waiting thread - come here and wait with us!

Off-topic here ladies and gentlemen, that you know I post a lot of Sailor Moon gifs in NeoGAF which it is not every forum, but every news about the PlayStation 4 and other consoles.
You see, the point is... I want to make a reaction just like everyone did like Antonio Banderas and the soccer coach goes out more cheering and his hair is like a Super Saiyan hair.
I want to do it for everyone, but I guess a lot of people are asking to everyone from maybe their message boards are getting tired of the Sailor Moon reaction gifs.
Well, I tried so I decide I'm going to stop once and for all and I hope you will be happy and be proud just like everyone else at NeoGAF, so mark my words "I really tried to do a reaction."

Back to topic, I'm waiting for the PlayStation App to come and by the way, you know that Europe and Australia has the same date November 29th. Why not the thread title said "Official European and Australian waiting thread". Because, that will be good to the Australians and we will be happy.
So, I guess only just maybe a few hours that the PlayStation App will come to our hands of the iPhone and Android devices and I guess that the iPad version of the app will be released before next year because we want to get Sony to release the app before next year and if they did it, we will be happy and if they didn't, we will be disappointed and angry.
 
I finally managed to wangle Friday off work. Yes! Thursday night will be spent re-arranging and re-wiring my entertainment centre, which is no small job I tell you.
 
hmmm. Might cancel my Amazon UK order and go with my local GAME store. I can pick it up on the night and pay it off early. Also has the advantage of not waiting for the postman and if it is a dud I can exchange relatively easily.

I asked people from another forum who ordered Xbone using prime and they said theirs are being delivered by DPD :)

Not sure. I guess those who pre-ordered can pick up their console at midnight, but it seems like the entire first batch is reserved for pre-orders only. When I went down there, they were calling to those who pre-ordered to see who were able to pick it up at launch. If someone couldn't make it, it seems like the console would go to the next on the list.

From what I gathered, they wanted to get rid of the first batch ASAP so they could receive a second batch as fast as possible.

I personally wouldn't do it.

Amazon's customer service is the best in class and GAME's is practically a joke.

At the end of the day though it's your call.
 
Well just got the news from the local shop me and a friend pre-ordered back around June that they aren't sure that we'll both get a system.
The clerk messed up and only put one system on the list, yet did add 2 copies of BF4 (which have already been changed to KZ4).
So now we can play the waiting game to see when they get back to us and hope that they can fix this mess.

Shit fucking sucks. :(

If these idiots would have told us earlier at least we would have been able to try and order a second one from a store that had some left for day one.
Not looking forward to wait another month.
 
My FIFA didn't turn up in the post today from Amazon (shipped yesterday). Hope they use a better delivery system for the consoles next week.

Got ACIV from GAME though. Felt a bit odd surrounded by people buying Xboxes :)

Their customer service is top tier. There's definitely some pros and cons. I have the action pack pre-ordered which saved me £20-25. The cost of the games at GAME or HMV are 50+ when I checked this lunch time.

But then on Friday (or even the midnight launch if I choose to) I can head down to GAME and have a blast all day without waiting for my local, shitty courier service. I lack any kind of patience for that type of thing.

I've tried deleting the app and redownloading from Purchased apps twice now and still not getting the latest one. Tried deleting the app and restarting too :(

To add on here:

The trackpad, in addition to the dimples, is rough matte plastic. It wouldn't really benefit from a cover, especially since it doesn't get used all that much.

The headset is a giant piece of crap. You don't want additional ones. It works, and the sound is ok, but the earpiece is HARD plastic and gets uncomfortable very quickly. My suggestion is just limp along with the one until Bluetooth headset support is added, and THEN either use your existing PS3 wireless set or pick up a Jabra/Plantronics type deal. Or get something like this if you can't wait.

Yes, any micro USB cable works. For my second controller, I'm using the cable that came with my Logitech universal remote. Totally doesn't matter.
 
How can there be no official statement to the release date of the Killzone Bundle? I mean we are one week away from the european launch and there is no sign of a date for the bundle? Why? :(

What do you mean? I've got it pre-ordered on Amazon - est. delivery Nov 29: Killzone, camera, 2 controllers.

No clue man, I'm also angry. The guy at Gamestop, where I picked FIFA up, told me the 13th of december, even though the entry in their system said "TBA" (to be announced).
 
Damnit. I was hoping that I could order from Zavvi to an UPS drop point, and then ship it to myself in Scandinavia. God fucking damnit how annoyed I am that I can't order a console from them.

I was rang yesterday (day before or something) and told my preorder would be there for day one and there was a Killzone bundle or Knack for £379.99 ....... This was at HMV.

Like many others, I got my very first PS4 game today.

Feels good man. :)

Like the cases better than the ps3 ones. Strange how they look smaller but are the same size.
 
It really does have a feeling of the PS2 launch, like the true giant is coming back to take its throne cant wait.

Got Tearaway waiting for me to pass the time.

It's times like those where I regret pre-ordering online for the off chance that something like that would happen, I remember sometimes getting games a full 2 days earlier than retail.

That said isn't a week super early for stock in warehouses? would have thought it'd start from Tuesday.
 
Wonder what the sale figures will e like for Europe in comparison to the US. Playstation has generally been a more popular brand in Europe than Xbox.

Friend pre-ordered from Gamestop 2 or 3 weeks ago and they said they won't have any more units in stock till March. So he's got a few months to go. Still, at least InFamous will be out by then.
