PS4 official European waiting thread - come here and wait with us!

Bloody GAME. Went in to pre-purchase, got told the codes weren't working. Fair enough. Got back to the office, the store twitter says "pre-purchase today!". Ask them if the codes are working now, get told they are. Head down after work, only to be told "nope codes haven't worked all day". I then seem to cause a mild panic when I tell them someone in the store is telling people the codes are working on Twitter. Grand result - gotta wait till tomorrow to guarantee I've not been screwed up by some system somewhere.

I managed to get mine done with no issue. They lost the codes for a while but they eventually dug it out.

I absolutely can't wait for the playroom streams from Europe. I imagine they will destroy the American ones. There are some cool ones now but most are really boring.

Will add some games on the night but not finalised what I want yet.

My experience was the same as whoever posted earlier, about them physically bringing out the system and bagging it up in front of my eyes. Was close enough to touch! Argh!

I also had a bit of a battle with him regarding taking out GAMEcare. I declined as politely as I could under repeated attempts, but reckon he's probably going to spend the next 2 days kicking it around the shop to punish me..

Awesome, just got an email from Currys saying my Assassins Creed 4 on the PS4 has just shipped. All for £26! :)

Now all I need is my PS4 to play it on, roll on Friday!

Russian PS4s in M.video warehouse ready for early sale on Thursday in Moscow and St.Petes.
I hope there will be plenty of them in my city so I can grab it on Saturday, because I'll be out of town on Friday, damn (
 
My PS4 is ready and waiting for me in Tesco with mine name on it. I was looking at it from within 2 feet locked up behind metal bars :((

Well, got my AC4 email from Tesco:

Replied back stating how disappointed I was that they just switch it for the standard edition, and why are others getting £10 vouchers as an apology. Let's see if they reply.

I'm a little sad I didn't get to see my future prize! Hopefully it's just sat there out back waiting with it's siblings to be set free!

There is inside info on Gamemag.ru, from admin, that Mvideo batch was damaged during shipping, so watch out. Test your system in store.
 
Okay, I back to trying to sell my Game gift card credit, I have £235ish. If any one has any ideas how to get cash for it, or if you would be willing to trade for it, let me know.

I just wanted my PS Plus card and was waiting for it all day, only to get a "delivery was attempted today. We'll try again tomorrow" email.

This has to be code for "Delivery guy was slow as shit today and couldn't get to you before his day ended" because I've been home all day and no way anyone coulda come to the door and not been noticed.

Gets me concerned only because I've ordered Killzone and NBA 2K14 with Amazon and if I don't get them on launch day with the console I'm getting from elsewhere, it's gonna be a bit of a bugger!

Ordered 30th May; Amazon Prime so it's release day expedited and no time on the dispatch estimate for me; just Friday 29th November.
 
Going to the Midnight launch, also in the GMT+12 timezone - so I'll be the first of the EU regions(-NA) to get their PS4 :D

edit: Im trying to redeem a PSPlus 365 day code on the website (here) - it's not working, must I redeem it on a PS4? or is it already used?
 
I ordered from Game uk on June 11th and have just had an email saying my Killzone bundle has been dispatched to the courier for delivery on launch day.

At the end of June I asked about changing my delivery method as i hadn't noticed an option to change delivery and it said Free Delivery on my order. I asked for Next Day and I had a reply saying there was no problem and due to the cost of the order it would be sent by courier anyway.

Game cancelled my red DS4 controller but i ordered one from gamestop today and it was cheaper, so fingers crossed it arrives friday too.
 
My Amazon order's apparently coming after Christmas which kinda sucks (if the deetz on the Order Details are to be believed). What I get for ordering in November, I guess! I'll live, just about.
