A store manager buddy at JB HiFi will be finding out in the morning whether they will be able to soft bundle the Killzone Package with the camera and extra controller for $699AUD for the midnight launch to appease the early adopters.
 
I know this is the exact opposite thread for it but I'm curious - does anyone know iff the Americans can just buy them off the shelf yet? How is it there? Mayhem or not?
 
if you've no pre-order but want to chance your arm on Friday, i'd try some of the more obscure places on the list below. Chances are people won't think about them in their hunt!

I'm actually a tightass, I'm getting the bundle so obviously Killzone (only game I really want) Resogun is free, Contrast is free, Knack will be on PSN+ within 3 months (I'd pay up to $20 for it) I am so so over COD, I don't like the AC franchise, N4S actually looked kinda good then I saw some reviews. I'm kind of buying it more for a new toy, hell I was buying it more for a new controller to play with and I found I don't really like the DS4 that much either!.

Why am I buying this? because eventually I'll love it I guess!

I assume as a "hardbundler" this means I can't get this, right?
(and infact, I don't even WANT a custom box, I want a stock box, custom game specific boxes are ugly!)
 
The picture on my order status page keeps shifting back and forth between a PS4 box and a PS4 proper + DS4. Everytime, I think status has changed or something but NOPE. Just messing with me.

Brown Thomas would be the place to try I'd say. Not a likely place people would look.
 
Just chatted with Amazon.de CS and they told me my PS4 will be dispatched tomorrow for release date delivery. No early PS4 for me (or other Amazon.de customers I suppose). :( Well, as Long as I get mine on Friday I'm happy.
 
My Amazon UK order is still not yet dispatched, ordered 29th May so it's not based on who ordered first, I live near London so I guess mine will change near the end of today.

If you've specifically ordered the bundle from the second shipment before Xmas then you probably won't be able to get a stand-alone console (with the soft bundled additions) because that unit has already been assigned to someone out of the initial delivery. Sorry duder.

My unsullied console box mocks your inferior game ad plastered box lolololololol

That really is weird! Maybe you're right, that they are only changing it when the package either arrived or the item officially released. Or there is something wrong with their system - I heard from two people who ordered something (nothing ps4 related) on amazon.de that the delivery date showed one in the 1970s.

I've got the same "pre-ordered" sentence, even though AC4 and Fifa 14 already shipped.
And nothing arrived today, which is weird, because it was guaranteed to be delivered today (prime member).

that's how amazon US looks too. their whole preorder/shipped status is out of whack. if you got the tracking you should be fine. it'll just say delivered when you get it
 
I wouldn't worry chances are if your Amazon order dispatches today it still won't arrive till Friday (couriers will probably be told to sit on them till tomorrow).

You'd be correct up until this week. People on boards.ie pointed out Brown Thomas were taking pre-orders and they filled up pretty fast. Still worth a try if they have extra stock for walk ins.

Anyway, Amazon just took the cash for my bundle, so hopefully it's leaving the warehouse soon :D

Its pretty much impossible to get one here in America unless you wait in line before the store opens when they get a shipment in. That's how I had to get one on sunday. Didn't have to wait too long, about an hour. They had enough people in line to where they were sold out immediately.
 
There has been a PS4 demo unit in ASDA Eastlands for the last few days. I've not had a chance to have a go yet, and I've not seen anyone play anything other than Fifa 14 on it :(
 
Thinking about it, weather it is dispatched today or not depends entirely where you live. If you live within a days transport from the dispatch center, they could well send it tomorrow.

I think I am, so nothing for me today. ACIV released on the friday, and they dispatched it at 01:00 am on thursday morning. It arrived on time.

I know, I am confident that mine will arrive on release day. But there is still a small, cheeky part of me that is hoping that it will arrive early.

I guess that's positive right? I mean it's gone beyond that much demand they continue to reserve / book people?
