PS4 official European waiting thread - come here and wait with us!

I think when Amazon Prime dispatch will determine which courier they use, I've had Prime things dispatch at 7PM and it's been delivered by DPD.

Also found out that amazon copies of nba 2k14 never had the upgrade code included with them in the first place. :(

I wasn't prime member back then, started it this fall, and my normal order isn't dispatched yet.
No order on amazon Germany was dispatched yet or at least, it seems so.

Unlucky. Looks like my order has slipped through Currys cancellation net. "Item [Assassin's Creed IV] arrived at Yorkshire Distribution Centre on the 2013-11-27 and we are currently processing it".

My order of Tearaway has gone...weird. Tried to get delivered this morning but is back at the post office as wouldn't fit in the post box. Then a few minutes ago I got the same cancellation email saying they're going to credit me the money back. So possible free copy of Tearaway I guess?

Not even a delivery date.
Is something wrong with my order or is that normal?

From the Amazon UK page:

● Customers who pre-ordered this console from August 7 up to and including November 13 will receive their consoles after release date but before Christmas

Zavvi have apparently dispatched mine.

Estimated Delivery says "On or before December 2nd", so it better come on Friday.

Coming by Yodel though, so who knows...

Same (Derry) and its driving me crazy! D:

Same (ish) Im in Isle of man so same problems as delivery to NI.
Amazon told me this morning that mine would be shipped today and not to worry.
I said if its shipped tomorrow it cant get here in time but the woman was positive I will get it on launch day so we will see.

Just checked my order and its showing no movement at all.. urgh

Hi dudes! Just got a message from a friend in Gothenburg, Sweden who talked to a employee of GAME who said that they were expecting much more PS4 units until Friday, but that Europe's expected amount of units were halved so those units could go to the US and compete with Xbox One. I guess he means compete in terms of statistics of items sold.

Anyone have any info that supports this?

I doubt it's as easy as re-routing consoles as Europe and the US have different regions and packaging et c. However it could very well have been decided earlier on a manufacturing level which IMO would make sense from a business perspective.

Tonight is my last night at work before a very long weekend booked off work.

Its gonna be one hell of a long shift, I just know it.

Just shut down my computer, that's me done until next week now. Tomorrow I'm paying off the console and setting up where it'll sit, and f5ing amazon for my vertical stand and DS4 charging dock.

I accidentally changed my Amazon order from standard delivery to express delivery (just wanted to see how expensive it is), but I'm gonna keep it that way. The expected delivery date for standard delivery was Nov 29th to Dec 2nd, and there are no weekend deliveries here.

Though the expected delivery date for express delivery is Friday, this doesn't guarantee that I'll actually get it.. The last time I used express delivery I was also guaranteed to receive the order on a Friday, but didn't receive it. "Unsuccessful delivery attempt" my ass. I had been waiting in the front yard when the tracking status was changed to this.

Well my PS4 Gamer Pack from Amazon UK has just changed to dispatching now from preparing to dispatch. Guessing this will leave with the courier tonight and hopefully turn up tomorrow..

At what stage will I be sure that my bank has authorised the payment with Amazon? Sort of worried they might block it for some reason.

You can call your bank and check if Amazon took your money. Or you wait until it says "Preparing for dispatch" (don't know the exact wording).

Well, no AC4 yet so I just had a livechat with an Amazon rep - they're replacing the AC4 and I should get it tomorrow which is great. I mentioned I was a little concerned about the PS4 coming and she said she couldn't confirm the courier service being used on my particular PS4 order yet but it is more likely that they will ship them out with tracking.

I take it if she couldn't confirm who it was going with yet then whichever distribution centre mine is in hasn't started preparing them yet.

Left half a box of chocolates with the neighbour, told them they'd get the other half if they looked after a large box either tomorrow or Friday if I'm out and can't answer the door.

Mine is an Amazon Prime delivery. Don't expect to see any change until tomorrow afternoon.

Then I'll be waiting from 8am Friday morning concealed by the gate on my drive way ready to double-leg the courier in excitement.

I just phoned the store I pre-ordered my PS4 and they said they got one for me today. Ah, can't wait for friday, gotta get up early to get it as soon as possible. I haven't been sleeping in a week in anticipation lol.

In my left (figurative) hand, I have an email from Amazon sent a week ago saying that due to unforseen circumstances my shipment of AC4 is delayed until December 19th. Fair enough, I ordered fairly late, I understand.

In my right (actual) hand, I have my copy of AC4 from Amazon, which arrived today.

In short: Guh?

Zavvi have sent my PS4 out for delivery, I dunno if that is with instructions to hold it until Friday or not. With yodel who are really good for other stuff, hopefully it comes tomorrow.

*squeee*

Free game! Yay!

I'm heading to the big Tesco Extra tomorrow night to buy a PS4 without a pre-order, they'll have some just to buy normally right? Anyone know around what time I should get to the store in case there's a line?
