I ordered a shirt last month. . keep logging into the tracker every day for a week 'delivery attempted, will try in 24hours' was the message - yet no note was ever left proving this. This went on for 7 days. Eventually my mum was on her way up the street and saw a guy with a parcel looking lost (at least 30 doors up the street) and she said that's not for *my address* is it - and he said yes! and apologised profusely. I cannot comprehend what went on for the previous 7 days.

Please let this come on thursday Hermes God.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it, although I almost cancelled mine out of guilt today, I've bought a 4K tv, a new GPU, a PSVR, now a pro, that's over £2,500 I've spent on toys for myself since April.

The missus convinced me to keep it though, bless her.

Mine is still in "Ordered" status here in the Suburbs of New York City. Since the status hadn't changed I had the following chat with Amazon.com which .. I dunno.. means... nothing?

My order number is (blanked out). I've noticed that this has not shipped yet and many other customers who have ordered this item have already had it ship. Is there a way to find out where it is, or why it has not begun being "prepared for shipment"?

Yeah, that's a pretty typical Amazon response, and they're not lying either. I've had stuff wait until the last moment to ship and still manage to get to me on time, and I've had stuff miss (A relative rarity lately, but it has happened in the past).

They won't (can't?) do anything unless the shipping date has been missed or there's some sort of definitive evidence it is going to miss (USPS says they aren't going to deliver it on the day). From there, they've always offered me some type of credit for the issue.
 
Add another to the list of US Amazon orders that have been charged and are Preparing for Shipment. Tomorrow our 55" KS8000 arrives and I back everything up, and Thursday we'll be ready!

Yeah. I have had a TON of experience with them. I just like to get it documented that so and so said it would be there. LOL. Y'know, just in case.

Now, if only they had the Seagate Firecuda 2TB 2.5" in stock. LOL.
 
My amazon order switched to "shipping today" finally. I bet they ship like at the latest possible time. I just wanted it a day early :'(

Mine hasn't moved from pre-ordered since I pre-ordered it the second it went up on Amazon UK.

The same happened with the PSVR too mind, maybe because I don't live too far away from their nearest centre or something. The VR was shipped the day before and came by 11am on releas day.

I'm almost certain all my Tesco Direct pre-orders give the Monday as the delivery date, but everything has arrived on time so far. I'm still kind of confident my £299 Pro will arrive on Thursday but wouldn't be the end of the world if it didn't.
 
For the folks who ordered through amazon, they ship based on your location from their warehouse. So, it's not uncommon for stuff to not ship out until tonight. My orders always ship the night before for release day delivery.

Main reason why I stopped buying games from Amazon and switched to Best Buy, though they usually deliver around 4-5pm. That's still too late for me.

Still not got passed Pre-order status either. My mate has prime and his dispatch day says the 9th he's convinced me to just wait until tomorrow as it will probably be sent out with the other prime orders for next day delivery.

You live in NYC. You're by several hubs so it's going to ship relatively late compared to a lot of places.

I get people are anxious/excited but I've been using Amazon for over a decade and they're ridiculously accurate. I can't remember the last time I missed a delivery window with Prime. They have new distribution centers all over and I've had stuff ship the same morning and get here in the afternoon.

Tesco have already said they're dispatching Pro orders tomorrow, so it's a lock for Thursday :)

I just go pick it up at their Customer Center because it's about 15 minutes away. Much easier that way for me!
 
Just a general pro question that doesn't need a new thread: Can anyone direct me to the link on the Sony site for the full install of the PS4 OS for a new harddrive?

All I can find is the update for download, and then the link for full OS just goes to some instructions with no download link that I can see.

EDIT: Nevermind, didn't see the download now jpg hidden within the bullet list. dumb.
 
I dunno where to ask this question... On my Pro, I made 2 videos of TLOUR, but when I go in Sharefactory, the videos don't appear... I closed the app, opened it again and same, nothing but the intro/outro videos... The videos appear in my gallery though. Weird.

Also I've a problem, when I pause / unpause a download, it's weird too, let me give you an exemple:

I have 10Gb to download, I downloaded 3Gb on 10Gb, then I do pause, then unpause, then it shows 0Gb on 7Gb, instead of resuming 3Gb on 10Gb.
 
Dammit man, I love Gamestop because they do the midnight releases and have never lost or screwed up my preorders, but they are damn nazi's when it comes to release dates and times... There's next to zero chance I could walk in to my gamestop and pick up my preorder before 9pm PST tmrw
 
I just saw that Amazon charged me the amount for the PS4, but it doesn't say that it's preparing to ship or that it was shipped. What does that mean?

Probably that they've at most that they've alotted you one from stock. Other than that, not much.

Still no change on mine. My watch continues...
 
Got a shipping confirmation for my PS4 Pro from Amazon. The carrier per the tracking info. is AMZL US, so apparently Amazon is delivering some shipments directly in my area now.
