I'm about 1.5 years into my 'new' 1080p set. It has a 5 year warranty so I won't be switching before that's up. Hopefully they have all the technical standards/HDR etc sorted out and agreed on by then. I suspect we'll be on the cusp of the PS5 will be on the horizon..

I like that it just looks like a fatter PS4. It's hilarious in that it's something that you'd see in a parody but the PS4 design was pretty great to begin with so I love it. I told myself that I don't need it but I'll probably buy one at some point and throw the OGPS4 in the gameroom.

99% sure they're capacitive. I read a complaint that the slim received physical buttons and the writer was baffled why the pro didn't get the same treatment.

I didn't care for it at first but became indifferent however that pic of it in person looks so much better and awesome! Opinions on design aside it really accomplishes what it set out to do and that is to convey to the consumer that it's more powerful. It's like a base model camaro and an SS camaro you can tell just by looking at it that it's more powerful!
