The ultimate in split-screen gaming, two completely different displays being driven by a console that was originally envisioned as being all-powerful. Curiously, we've actually come full circle with the PSVR breakout box, since the social screen and VR display can be different views altogether.

I generally work all midnight releases but yea fuck that I'm taking 3 days vacation time to put this thing through its paces. Seeing the damn boxes got me dumb hype, cannot wait to give some of these games a whirl on the pro.

Damn, the game i'm testing it with is FF XV, but definitely post some pictures from the pro versions of those games. Can't wait

Took the day off. I think a lot of that time is going to be spent on the system transfer though judging by the time I have seen it take in that youtube video.

I'm just waiting for confirmation on whether the hard drive bay supports desktop size drives this time. I'm assuming it won't, but I don't want to order a 2TB laptop drive and then find out I could've had a bigger drive in it,

It won't. No point them buying some 3.5" drives and some 2.5" drives when they can just buy a ship load of 2.5"s.

If you are talking about 4D everyone already know that you're talking about the other 3D+ Time so I'm not sure why you would think that I'm talking about "just" time? I mean how would you even see time without the other 3?
I was asking what counted as 4D games like if a game used global illumination , ray tracing & things like that would it count as 4D because it's simulating light travel or if a game was to use volume rendering & simulate ice melting in the sun & turning back to water or something like that would it count as 4D? Would Dreams rendering be 4D?

tbh its cheaper to buy Pro in Canada then in US. I just did the conversion before buying. I was going to order one from my friend who lives in Michigan
but $400 USD is $536 CAD. And we are only paying $500 here. Even after tax its cheaper. Considering NY has 7% tax.

i'm getting hyped now. i wonder if Sony reworked the cooling inside the Pro so that it cools efficiently when standing vertically.

Also, is there any confirmation infamous: SS is getting patched? It was mentioned but now all the focus seems to be on First Light.

Your order says it's shipping on Tuesday too? It won't be then, in my case at least, because I live near an Amazon facility. Stuff that's pre-ordered is always shipped the day before release in my case and for many others it seems.

I can get 10% off in UK where i work so its £315. Then i can sell my launch PS4 to recoup some cost.
Currently i'm a projector person but TVs are progressing quicker than projectors tech wise / cost.
So now its a case deciding of giving up screen size (120" down to 75") for native 4K HDR.
I'm leaning projector as id rather higher FPS, max effects @1080p compared to 4K resolution, HDR.
For example Last Of Us Native 4K@30, Think id stick with 1080@60....
Id rather hear more about 1080p Pro mode improvements than just 4K HDR.
