I got an email today from Gamestop (Ireland) saying the Pro would be on sale tomorrow. Doubt it will be mind.

Odd, the person at Walmart here in NY in the U.S. said releasing tomorrow as well which I figured is a mistake since we all know it is the 10th. Maybe they know something we don't?

Digital Foundry made note of it in one of their PS4 Pro articles

this is gonna be really tricky for a lot of people who bought 4K TVs in 2014 or 2015. for example, my TV supports 4K60 and HDMI 2.0 (i think) but not HDR which requires HDMI 2.0a. it's a messy situation.

My Sony 4KTV doesn't have HDR or will get a patch for it, but I'm good that it does support 60hz at full 4K.

So close.. damn no sale alerts on registers..

They said "it doesn't come out until tomorrow, but don't worry, we will have them for you when you come back."

Which means, the system will update not to sell them until the 10th before I can get my hands on one. Lol.

You forgot the baby lotion!!

Thanks. By looking at it side by side with original ps4, you truly realise how ugly the pro is. Ps4 was a work of art. Sold my original ps4 yesterday and will get that ugly thing into my home instead in few days time. :)

I know it's a cliche, but it's genuinely a lot nicer in the flesh...

Regarding the questions I got asked yesterday:

Noise levels: Quieter than my launch PS4, but that was pretty quiet as it was!
Hard Drive: As discussed, it's a 9.5mm drive bay

All I want to know is the loudness of the console. So many out there already someone please tell me it sounds at least the second version of the original ps4 and not like the first models .

I don't want a jet engine ps4.

What's the actual size of the drive bay? Any chance that if you didn't use the caddy you could slide a thicker drive in?

Since there are bunch of people claiming that OG PS4 was quiet we have to wait for some professional measurements with decibel meter.
